In the winter of 2023 I had taken my Razor to get the front shocks rebuilt, tires rotated and oil changed. When I talked with the gal on the phone I was quoted 1 hour per shock, 30 min for the oil change and $50 for tire rotation. I was also informed from the woman at the front desk that they are all caught up in the shop and the process should take approx. 3 days. 2 weeks later I was called and my machine was ready for me to pick up. I asked what the total charges were and I was informed $924 and some change. When I asked for the breakdown of all the charges, the shop manager ****** Fletcher had charged me 2 hours for labor for each shock when I was quoted 1 hour per shock from the woman at the front desk. ****** then attempts to inform me that the woman at the front desk doesn't run the company and doesn't have the authority to give quotes over the phone and that I should've talked to him and not her. Had the company called me and kept me in the loop of everything that was going on and given me a formal quote then I would not have been surprised with the unwarranted charges. Southpaw motorsports just does not conduct good business and will add charges to your bill without you being aware of it.
