Do not ever use *********************** as a bankruptcy attorney. Three years ago I lost my job during Covid. I was told by **** that my bankruptcy payment for chapter. 13 would be between $700 and $1000 a month. I agreed to this knowing I could not afford any more due to the loss of income($30,000 a year). **** was very attentive during the process in the beginning. After going to court I was told my payment was increasing to $1636.00 a month! I reached out and explained there was no way I could afford this. He said it is what it is. You need to increase your income or reduce your debt . This left me in a worse situation than before I filed bankruptcy. After 2-5 years I reached out again and explained that my mother had been ill and I became her full time caregiver and was not able to work other jobs and was there anything that could be done? He suggested I Refinan e my home which I did. This process took several months due to the attorneys assistant ************************* and her lack of attention to detail and un professionalism in corresponding or follow thru, my bankruptcy was paid off in September of 2023. The law firm told me that was it. I received a letter from the bankruptcy court in Dec 2023 stating that I needed to send in my certificate completing training and the attorney had not filed the proper paperwork to discharge the case. I emailed the certificate in and was told by ***** that she received it and **** would submit the dismissal and not to worry there was plenty of time. Then in January of **** I received a letter from the bankruptcy court stating that my bankruptcy case was closed but not dismissalz within a few days I started receiving correspondence from old creditors that were included in the bankruptcy . I reached out to ***** and she assured me she sent the certificate in but was not sure why **** had not sent in the discharge paperwork . I spoke with **** 2 was later and he said he missed it. Would never recommend. Worst experience ever! They only want $
