On Jan 4th Burgoyne notified its customers that it was deploying an integrated spam solution on 11 Jan 2022. They reported we would have access to webmail & email throughout but to expect email delivery delays during the maintenance period. Commencing 12 Jan, we noticed we could no longer send email. Either we'd receive an unspecified error from the burgoyne servers, or messages indicating the recipient address was invalid, or that outbound messages were blocked due to spam content. This happened even trying to send email to burgoyne's support address: "[email protected]". Attempts to send email to that same support address from my gmail account report the address as "could not be found or unable to receive email. I attempted calls to their customer service #: ###-###-#### see URL: http://www.burgoyne.com/preportal/customerservice.asp. On the 13th I waited on hold for 1 hour. On the 14th, when their automated voice customer service attempted to connect me to broadband support the line went dead. A quick search on the web, revealed this company seems to have merged elsewhere, The business owning the domain names for their email servers is IKANO which has a SLC office. As of this date we still are unable to send email. We continue to receive email, but there has been no communication from the provider. This is a paid, not free email service which we've had for several years. They began legitimately, but given the circumstances fear they are now being managed illegitimately. I ask your support in contacting the appropriate agencies regarding potential fraud. There are several businesses listed under the burgoyne name in SLC making it difficult to know who, and under what name they are owned. Thank you.
