We spoke with Mr. ***** on 4/21/25. Mr. ***** purchased a rebuild of his core for a 2012 RZR 900 engine from us on 1/5/24. We received his core on 1/19/24, completed the rebuild process, and shipped it to him on 1/30/24. All our rebuilt engines come with a one year warranty. We are unable to independently verify mileage which is why our warranties are time based. Mr. ***** contacted us 8/19/24 with a concern that his engine was burning oil. We emailed him the needed paperwork to return his engine for warranty work. We received the engine on 10/18/24, completed the work needed, and shipped the engine back on 10/30/24. Mr. *****'s one year warranty expired 1/30/25. We do try to help our customers and our team leads can decide to accommodate work if a customer calls in within 30 days of the warranty expiring. Mr. ***** spoke to our team lead on 2/25/25 with a concern that his exhaust valve was super tight. Our team lead opened a warranty case for him and informed Mr. ***** the warranty claim was valid for 30 days. Mr. ***** said he wouldn't be able to get the engine out of the machine until Saturday, 3/1/25 and would ship it to us Monday, 3/3/25 which was within the 30 day time period. As of 4/21/25 when Mr. ***** again called in, we had not received the engine for the warranty work and Mr. ***** was informed the one year warranty is expired. Our warranty covered any issues Mr. ***** brought to our attention but Mr. ***** did not find it expedient to return the engine within the proper agreed timeframe. Mr. ***** was informed in our sales agreement of the one year warranty period with the purchase of his engine. All emails have been sent to ******************************* and Mr. ***** has also emailed us from this email address which shows it is a valid email so all documents would have been received. Rev 6 has abided by the terms set forth by the sales agreement so a refund of the engine would not be warranted.Initial Complaint

I purchased a rebuilt engine via their website for a 2011 Polaris Ranger 800. Was paid in full up front with credit card. I shipped them my core which they knew I was going to do, which cost me $350 later to find out that they were supposed to send me a tag to return the core and didnt. Then I was shipped a defective engine right out of the box, took to a mechanic to confirm and never even got to install it in our side by side machine. Called them, they did send me a tag to box it up and send it back which I did and they again sent me a defective engine right out of the box, so this was sent back and I requested a refund and my core back, I didnt get either one, s I contacted my credit card company and did a dispute and thankfully I was credited the $3700 for the engine. However, I am out $350 and my engine I sent them and they are refusing to send me my core back, or a replacement core that I can go elsewhere that has quality control standards and get the core re-built. I started with an engine and $3700+325=$4025 and since they could not manage to get me w working engine and fulfill their end of the sales contract, I feel I should get either my core-or a suitable core back, and the $350 I am out for shipping. They tell me it is in their contract to not ship a core back. Well, they were also contracted to so what they said and havent, so the contract clearly is not any good to me. Just to them. I need my core or a replacement and re-imbursement of my shipping expenses to them.Business Response

Mr. ****** filed a chargeback with his credit card company. Rather than prolonging this matter, we have accepted the chargeback so he has in essence been refunded. We have also paid him for his core in the amount of $1200, more than it was worth since there was damage we had to fix. We will not be covering the shipping costs since we refunded the core amount at a higher value.Initial Complaint

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:The motor didn’t even make it through the break in period before the warranty expired due to the length of the time we had the first motor we purchased from you. There was no way for us to even prove that the 2nd motor was even going to last which it failed. The transmission we got from you exploded on its self and when we had to warranty that out we were told it was lost and the 2nd transmission didn’t even have all the parts so we continuously had to call and ask for parts that were missing. Your company hasn’t given us a single reason to spend another dime with you none of your products have lasted more than a month at max! I’ve been cussed at by Jake over the phone, phone calls never get returned and it took my husband calling Jake to even get somewhere with the transmission. None of your products have held up so why should we drop more money on products that have shown up with parts of our old motors/transmissions? Jake even confirmed this in a previous phone call. Plus we were charged an additional $900 because there was “damage” to the motor when it was sent in. We have spoken with multiple lawyers and have even given them copies of everything we were given including emails and texts, they recommended we try going through the BBB and if that doesn’t get us a refund on money spent that they are more than willing to take this to court. I’ve looked at reviews and can see that this has been an issue for more than just my husband and I. There is tons more of evidence we have but this will only let me add small amounts. We aren’t wanting to go to court, honestly hoping that you would stand behind your products quality and realize that we have had nothing but issues with motor and transmission since the day we got them.
e morning of 4/9/2024 and asked to speak with someone higher up preferably the owners to get this matter resolved and was told that the owners are never on sight nor do they talk with customers and a ticket was put in for a manager to call me. A manager called me a little later and said that we could buy a rebuild and that they are at the point of this is the only thing that needs to be done and if we want to take legal action to go ahead because there is nothing the company will do despite us receiving 2 faulty engines and 2 defective transmissions and not even receiving all the parts for the transmission its self, we had to constantly call and ask for missing parts to be shipped.
Sincerely,

This engine was purchased and shipped 12/16/22. As per our warranty policy, each engine has a 1 year warranty from purchase. There is not a way for us to independently verify mileage on an engine or transmission so we do have to go with a time period for our warranty. Our warranty is one of the longest in the industry to make sure our customers are taken care of. Most other warranties are 90 days up to 6 months max. In July 31, 2023, the customer notified us that the engine had locked up. We did bring the engine back in for warranty to correct the issue and sent it back to the customer in August 2023. The customer's warranty expired December 20, 2023 and we did not hear from them in-between when they received the warranty engine until March 2024. Mr. F*** called us on March 20, 2024 to ask what his options were as he is now needing another repair. We did inform him that his warranty expired 3 months prior but he could purchase a rebuild service which is less expensive than purchasing a new engine and we could help him that way. As stated, we do have a 1 year warranty to make sure our customers are taken care of but the customer has contacted us outside of the warranty period. We also have a 1 year warranty on our parts. The customer did purchase parts in February 2023 and we did a warranty of them in June 2023 and have not heard from them regarding the parts until Ms. F*** called in on April 8, 2024. At this time, parts are outside of the 1 year warranty as well. If the customer would like to take advantage of the rebuild service, we would be happy to help them.Initial Complaint

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Sincerely,
****** *****ake sure everything is good to go. I asked to make sure my labor costs will be reimbursed and the manager stated either I get my $5750 refund or get taken care of and get my labor costs refunded. I chose the route of getting my labor costs refunded and the engine built properly. Finally get the 3rd motor back in January. Mechanic installs it and everything is good. I pay a bill of $2730 for the remainder of the work after everything is said and done. I had spent a total $4655 over the past few months in labor because rev 6 couldn't get it correct and things needed to be done more than once.Business Response

Opinion needed…I have a 2016 Polaris Ranger 570 xp. I had 14k on the original motor. After some searching I went with Rev6 motor. After speaking with a salesperson on the phone they recommended the 570 with a big bore kit $3500 plus $500 for the big bore $400 for the tune and a 2 year warranty which if I remember was $600. After waiting for about 3-4 weeks the motor arrived. Installed it and went through the break in instructions. Unfortunately the motor only lasted about 250-300 hours and it was going through oil. So I contacted rev6 through text and phone calls and they told me to remove and send back for warranty work. So I removed motor and sent it back on my dime. $125 plus time for removal. Well I waited another 3-4 weeks and a new motor arrived. Installed the motor went to start it and it would not fire. I contacted them again and they told me to check the timing which I did and it was 180 degrees out of time. I adjusted it and it still didn’t fire. It was cranking but wouldn’t start. So I brought it to a Polaris dealer for evaluation. They told me they couldn’t get it to fire and that something was wrong with the motor. Since it wasn’t a Polaris motor and it was a rev6 motor that there was nothing they could do. So I contacted rev6 again and they said to remove and send back again for diagnostics. At that time Justin told me he would never recommend a big bore kit on a 570 because the cylinder walls. He suggested to go back to stock with a stock tune. Well after fighting with the on that they gave me a refund of $900 for the big bore and tune. Well I got the motor back to stock and guess what…boom after 8 hours. Now they said since they gave me a refund of $900 they are done with it and no longer warranting the motor. My warranty is now expired and I’m out my time of installing and uninstalling, Polaris dealership bill and a motor. What should I do? What can I do? Thanks for any advice.Initial Complaint

They have sent 3 engines that have all been crap motors. 1st motor lasted 350 miles, 2nd one they sent lasted 7 hours, and 3rd motor barely made it through break-in.
