    I am from CA visiting family in Utah. I booked this hotel in advance and I checked in around 2am on Tuesday 7/11/23 technically so I booked the hotel for check in on Monday 7/10 to Tuesday 7/11. So I checked in at 2am and immediately after walking in my room I was dissatisfied due to a horrible smell. Like mildew and poop. Also I booked a single room with one bed but that room had two beds. So immediately after checking the room and seeing / smelling I went to the front desk guy who said his name is victor and I told him about the smell and the extra bed. He said they are over occupied and literally do not have any other rooms. So I went back to the room and I went number one and the bathroom smelled so horrible like poop so I started looking and I saw the shower stall was dirty and peeling really bad. I also saw the wall paper / paint was peeling and bubbling. So then I started looking around the room and I noticed some weird bug on the ceiling by the window. Then I moved the curtain and saw several more alive bugs on the curtains. Then I moved the curtains and saw a huge hole in the window sill and the window sill was very dirty and had several dead bugs in the window sill as well. Then I looked at the beds and I saw small tiny bugs on the pillow of one of the beds so then I looked at the second bed moved a pillow and saw a tiny bug crawling on that bed too!! At this point I’m disgusted I grabbed my stuff and went back to the front desk and spoke with victor. I told him what I found and that I took pictures and that I am not staying and told him I wanted to hear back from the manager in the morning. Victor told me they have a beatle infestation. I left by 2:25am. The next morning I talked to the manager and showed him the pictures and he argued with me and was refusing to refund me. I told him it’s not okay to try to make guests sleep with any bugs in the bed but he said they’re just Beatles as if that was okay. I am requesting assistance with a refund / complaint
