We moved in last April (2023) and when we moved in we were given a red parking pass. About 2 weeks ago my husbands truck got towed while we were home and he got into it with Tori B******* who said “ your pathetic and no one cares”. April 16th 2024 we got a violation sticker on our red truck because our red parking pass was invalid, today it was towed. I reached out to Tori expressing my frustration and she felt the need to belittle me while we were emailing and telling me contradictory statements. Saying we aren’t getting a violation for the red tag. We made it clear we felt we were being targeted because we have picture proof no other cars were towed or tagged (5 total just from a brief walk ) and that we want desert edge to refund us for the towing since they failed to give us the correct parking permit and Tori ended the conversation that she was going to file harassment when she in fact is the one harassing. She was very unprofessional and should not be in the position she is. I’m happy to share the emails and texts exchanged along with a receipt.

As it currently stands, this homeowners association has been negligent, avoidant, and overall impossible to work with. There has been a water leak in the common area for over 6 months leading to severe damage to shared walls of our complex. The HOA has increased their monthly fee, yet have not made any attempts in improving, or fixing issues we have had at the complex. You can interview anyone who lives in the mountain view park complex, and they will all tell you the same. This HOA has not dealt with any issues we have had. When this property was purchased, there as promise of a hot tub, which has been out of order for over 5 years. There was a promise that maintenance would be provided, yet this has not been done. Reading just the reviews for this HOA you can paint the picture of their shady practices. I have emailed this company 3 times over the last 6 months to no response. I have left 5 separate voicemails, called over 20 times and still no answer from the property manager Derek. Even neighbors have stated the same that do not respond to us. Currently, this HOA is leaning toward total negligence.
