    Before making my eye appointment I called my insurance to verify they covered my eye exam. They stated that cover 80%. I then proceeded to call my eye dr and ask if they take my insurance. The lady on the phone took my information and confidently said oh yes! We absolutely take your insurance United Health car. I proceeded to make my appointment and go to the eye dr. A month and half later I received a bill for the full price of an eye visit ~280$. This is ridiculous they didn’t use my insurance. I call the dr. Office and I say you didn’t bill my insurance. She then changes her tone and says the dr doesn’t take my insurance. I then call my insurance provider and they again state they covered my eye exam. I call back the dr.s office and explain. The lady is confused and I escalate the call up to the practice manager. Jaince practice manager calls me and explains they made an error in billing and my new claim has been issued. This was in late January early February. The practice manager stated they incorrectly billed me. He even stated they’ve had numerous problems with the eye dr.s office billing. Now it’s April and I’m still receiving the same bill. I call the dr.s office and they send me to the practice manager and they are always unavailable. I’ve called over 10 times trying to speak with someone. I leave a message every time and no one gets back to me. TLDR. Dr. B***** clinic refuses to talk to me about a bill they stated was incorrectly billed. They are refusing to discuss the bill with me even though they admitted it was incorrectly billed. I’ve called 10 plus times and they refuse to assist me in properly billing my claim.
