First off, how can you possible rate this business A+ ? They continue to get the same kind of reviews over the years! Ridiculous! Unbelievable! They DO NOT care about their customers. The only thing the 2 bosses care about are themselves. ****, is impossible to deal with, if you threaten him with a bad review, he wont return your money in a timely manner, if at all. Hes not a nice person! **** is ok, he just follows ***** instructions. Some of the other people who work there try hard to be fair and honest, but, its hard for them cause the heads of the company dont appear to promote honesty. I guess when you rate a business on BBB, youre lucky if anyone else gets to see your complain because you all give them A+. Youre no help. You all should have fake customers from your company go to the business and put half the money down for a service and materials and see what happens, otherwise we are wasting our time on the BBB site.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I wasted 8 months with this company. If I could rate them negative stars, I would. Avoid doing business with Utah Flooring & Design at all costs. I regret not doing more research and reading these reviews before choosing them to install a new floor in my house. The waterproof laminate planks they installed didn't even last 2 years before they started coming apart at the seams. **** Flooring sent someone out 2 months after I called to ask them if they could fix it. They told me it was a manufacturer's defect and I'd have to replace the entire floor. I waited for 2 more months. They sent another person out and told me the same thing. When I pushed to see when it could be replaced, they told me I had to file a claim with the manufacturer. I called and was told by the wholesaler that they didn't work with customers, that **** Flooring had to file the claim, and that they didn't have any claim filed yet. **** Flooring told me I had to pay more money for a third-party inspector to confirm that it was a manufacturer's defect, and I'd be reimbursed the fee, and the manufacturer would pay for the installation of a new floor. **** Flooring hid behind their one-year installation warranty the entire time, reminding me at every turn that they wouldn't install a new floor. How do I have a 15-year warranty from the manufacturer yet can't get a new floor installed? The third-party inspector came. A month later, they texted and said isn't the installation or manufacturer. My house settled. So, nobody is taking accountability and doing anything to fix the problem. I am now out over $3,000 and 8 months of wasted time with this company. Also, the initial quote I received from them said, "Company has a lifetime *************** Warranty." When I asked about that, they said only for some products. I wasted money on a floor and inspector fee and had the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE the entire time. How can this company still be in business with all these bad reviews?Utah Flooring & Design

I would not recommend this company. This was my 3rd experience with them. The first was just great. Good pricing on lv install. The crew that came was good and fast. Second time I had them do a tile backsplash in the basement kitchenette. The tiler they sent was not skilled. He did an adequate job but not a skillful job. I didn't complain at that time, but was annoyed it was a job done only mediocrely. This last time, I needed my kitchen floor redone after water damaged the laminate floor that was there. I chose to do tile. When the sales guy came, ****, he was really nice. Liked him a lot. and their prices were lower than other bids. At the time I was considering using a 8x4 size tile which constituted and upgrade charge for smaller tile, $214. Well in the end, I used 13x13 tile. I tried to reach the sales guy prior to install to tell him but he never responded. Well, the day of tile install I messaged the project manager I was assigned, *****, to tell her I needed the $214 up charge on tile size removed. She agreed to take off that charge. She sent me an updated invoice that showed the removal of the $214. I signed and returned, but failed to keep a copy for myself. After it was signed I couldn't get back to the document at all. We have called and texted about the $214 refund 5 times. No one ever returns our calls or texts.My advice if you use them...make zero order changes after the sales invoice is signed (which is hard to do in construction). Expect mediocre tradesmen to do the work. And expect very little communication from their so-called project managers. Also, once they charge your card (and they charge half up front and the other half the day the job starts - so if you don't like their work you have no recourse because you already paid in full) you won't be able to get a hold of them at all. Never again will I use this company. Pay an extra 20% to better installers. Less headache that way.Utah Flooring & Design

I will never hire Utah Flooring and Design again. Extremely poor workmanship and customer service. Complete lack of ownership. The pictures speak for themselves, but only represent a fraction of the numerous issues I've been left to fix on my own and at my expense. Do your due diligence and read other reviews. My experience is not the exception, it is the norm.Utah Flooring & Design

I have to say that this is the very first time that I have left a review that was not a 4-5 Star rating. I wont go into details. What started out being a great experience with ****, who came out to measure and was a pleasure to work with. Now, when the installer arrived (early, which was awesome) everything was explained to him (a very nice guy by the way) that we were installing 3-month old carpet that had no seams and was more than enough to do two small bedrooms and have no seams. This was a nice patterned carpet, so we made sure that we had an ample amount so as not to have any seams. If this was not the case, we would never have had it done because of the pattern/seam issue. It ended up that a few hours later he apparently was finished and left without even letting me know so that I could at least look the job over and thank him. When I went to inspect the work, there were several seams in each room that are very noticeable. He had also left scraps all over, water bottle, pad scraps etc. Never even tried to clean up after himself. This was very disappointing, but was not the kicker It was when we talked to the owner (****) that we were most disappointed with. He was anything but professional in addressing our concerns as a client. The whole thing was truly their fault, but he instead tried blaming us. Unbelievable. His comments and remarks were belittling at best. Like I said at the beginning, I have only left 4-5 Star reviews and have never been compelled to write a negative review until our experience with ****. He perhaps should take a step back and learn some people skills. Wont be using these guys EVER. No referrals as well.Utah Flooring & Design
