    Ive been at my complex for almost 3 years now. When I 1st moved in the complex was owned by a different management company (***) and they did their own break down of the water, were trash, cam, shared electric & gas and pest control. These bills were roughly $40-$60 March 2023 - December 2023. Come February 2024 when the new management *** took over the exact same things that SRG was charging for have now doubled with *** using Utility Billing West as their company. Same unit, nothing about my situation had changed just the management company and who they partner with. These bills are now around $130 - $180 year round. Theee charges are wild here is a snip it of what the fall months Aug-Nov of a 1bedroom 858sqft 1 occupant in ******, ** looks like on average.Real Estate tax ~$17.00, CAM *** ~$51.50, Water ~$24.00, Swerer ~$11.50, Trash ~$12.00, Stormwater ~$7.00, Gas ~$1.00, Service *** $6.50. The extra charges are from ******************** Tax, and the Service ***s. Thats an extra $75 that I am paying every month that was non existent before. This is the second property I have lived at that uses Utility Billing West and the charges doesnt feel correct. As I did stay on property and move to a 2bed w/ a roommate and they were basically the same so idk how they do their break down cause it doesn't seem correct. Also I am not sure if this a Utility Billing West issues or an *** issue. Maybe both.

    I live in a multi-family apartment building in Des Plaines, IL. The charges from this company are out of control. There doesn't seem to be any explanation for this. In November of 2023 the charge for gas in my apartment was $18.81. This month, the charge for gas in the same apartment was $171.71. There doesn't seem to be any logical explanation for this. This has been a very warm winter and the apartment I live in has large windows. When the sun is shining it can be very very warm and we have rarely turned the gas heat on...in fact the air conditioner has been running more often than the heat. $18.81 to $171.71 in 6 months? What gives?

    This company is ripping people off they charges outrageous fees when there not even in the same state where there charging the frivolous fees you know there a problem when the rental company even says theres an issue . So there even preying on rental properties and all of the residents as well. This has become a constant frustration for all parties except this utility company!

    Criminals. Just like my apartment complex for even allowing this!! Its APRIL. Why would my bill be $100 when I havent used any heat??? Then all of the sudden you forgot to charge the whole YEAR I was living here now you all want to s**** us! Rent raised, this utility bill out of nowhere.. THE *** rent is due just throw in an extra $100 criminal!!
