DO NOT under any circumstances trust this property management company, I rented a home managed by them for 3 years, full deposit, always paid rent on time, all of their additional fees that accumulate each month and year, including pet deposit and pet rent, after moving out and leaving the place spotless, came time to reconcile my deposit which I was owed, they sent me a simple statement, stating it was kept to pet damage to a floor. ( pet damage how? It wasnt chewed up, it was lifting from the bottom) The owner also would randomly drop in a few times a year, and I recorded the first visit with them (if I needed it in the future) where they noticed cheap laminate type floor by the front door was lifting and warping that sat by a big cabinet I had in the entryway. Upon moving out 3 years later I had gotten so bad I told pineapple it should be replaced and that doesnt fall on me because its simply just warped overtime and terribly done and awful quality. Instead of sending an itemized d breakdown they decided to keep my full deposit. I will be perusing legal action and would never recommend the company to a renter or landlord. On top of all this pineapple treats tenants poorly, they decide to randomly drop in for inspections photographing personal items and the home ( which I also have on camera)

It started with issues involving my co-tenant ******* *******, aka ***** *******. I will discuss that situation before I detail my complaint against Pineapple. There was a police investigation of ***** ******* related to possession of narcotics (crystal meth), intimidation with use of a gun, and assault. Her legal history includes multiple arrests from heroine possession in the *********** area. This led to multiple warrants, parole violations, and probation violations. She was on previously on parole in ******** for a felony (possession of controlled substance). On *** police body camera she admitted to Ketamine use and assault (throwing objects at me).Furthermore, there were multiple instances of: spitting on me, threats, slapping me with objects, chest bumping me, as well as intimidation with the use of a ****** cat was locked in the closet five times. After several times, I put a door stopper and camera next to the closet. She took the door stopper off and unplugged the camera. Her attempts to hurt my cat were intentional. On Wednesday 3/26/25, in desperation, I called the property manager (Ms. ***** to try to arrange for some solution. We discussed renegotiating the lease (there was only 1 month remaining on the lease). I wanted to renegotiate or take me off the lease so that I could leave. They had $1850 of security deposit with one month remaining, so I was confident we could figure out a solution. With my cat and myself in a very unsafe situation, there was no call back for five days. No contact whatsoever. I called Ms. **** on Monday 3/31/25. She said I could not alter the lease without an agreement from the other tenant. In light of the imminent danger, and with /ittle time remaining on the lease, and considering they had $1850 in security deposit, they were acting unethically. They prioritized profits over people. They showed no urgency. They showed no concern for the welfare of myself or my cat.

They rent to illegal Aliens are unwilling to cooperate with the police. I have proof the rented an apartment to a resident who used my social. They do nothing. They were contacted by the police and never responded.

Dear BBB,We made multiple responses at the time to the tenant asking for more information. She mentions a unit being rented but we have no information about that individual or who to pursue. She referenced a property address that we were no longer managing. This was 7 months ago and we had not heard back from this individual.Thank you

*******, we are sorry for the frustration. We do not own this rental property; we are under the direction of the Landlord for upgrades to the property. Unfortunately, the Landlord makes this decisions and we would do any upgrade that is approved. Thank you again.

This company was a nightmare to deal with. They breached their lease multiple times, entering my unit without permission, twice. And upon moving out, they did the move out inspection without my knowledge. When it clearly states in their own lease that the tenant must be present for said move out inspection, unless there is written permission by the tenant. I still had over a week left on my lease when they claimed that "sometimes it's just impossible to line up scheduling". Then they had the nerve to charge $250 against my return of deposit without any explanation. Even after emailing and calling to request that information, they were silent. I can live with the $250 if they could've proven there was something worth charging me that much for. But they couldn't. I had to have an attorney send a letter to them to get them to take me seriously, and get the rest of my deposit back. This company is run by people uneducated in tenant/landlord laws. They do not care about their tenants. And they take terrible care of their properties. I would not recommend anybody rent from this company. I'm greatly relieved to be gone.

Will attempt to take every ***** of your deposit. Even for damages that were already there. We willingly rented a ran down apartment and were okay with it. But then they tried to charge us for all the damage that was already there. They also claimed we didn't clean the apartment when we spent an entire day cleaning it. Maintenance is slow. And it will take them months to fix something as simple as an outlet. We had to deal with flooding multiple times which destroyed some of our stuff. And they didn't care.
