      Paid mortgage off 10/25 husband passed 2019 overpaid they wouldnt tell me anything said my name was not on mortgage. They sent me a paper that has my name on it that I am the mortgagor also they sent me a refund check I cant cash cause it is to the estate of my husband gone 6 years they basically told me they need the deed which they rejected cause the deed was done before the mortgage. Going in circles *** had enough sending check back and they can keep it

      The worst experience one could possibly have!My loan was transferred to them, and the balance they posted was not only inaccurate but actually higher than it should have been. It took 25 days (yes, twenty-five days, Lord help me) for them to finally adjust it.Every time I called, their staff was unbelievably unprofessional and rude. And when my balance was finally corrected and I went to make a payment, I was greeted with a lovely surprise: a $5 fee for using their own website to pay with my checking account.For the record, my previous lender never charged anything for the exact same type of payment. So I called to ask why and their brilliant solution was: Just mail us a check.Mail. A. Check!!In the 21st century.Honestly, it feels like Select Portfolio Servicing is stuck somewhere between dial-up internet and floppy disks. And their app and website? Outdated, clunky, and as user-friendly as a brick...

      Do not agree to have Select Portfolio service your loan.. They have employees who do not know what they are doing. I along with my lawyers have been trying to transfer my deed to my trust and have been getting the run around for past three months being told a different thing and requesting the same info over and over. They then said they cant give me permission to transfer i need to go to bank who owns the loan. Then they proceeded to give me a letter with incorrect bank owner. Once I got the correct bank they are saying the servicer is who deals with any transfer request. Im still going back and forth. **** is looking into figuring it out.

      Do not do business with ***. They are disorganized and withhold information. My ex and I were going through a divorce and doing an Assumption of Mortgage putting the home/ loan in his name. One, they never assign one account manager to you , you have to beg for one otherwise you have to repeat yourself over and over again. Two, for months while submitting hundreds of documents and conversations did they say that the old loan owner would NOT BE REMOVED from the loan! What is the purpose of an assumption of mortgage?!. We were so angry as they never disclosed that. I feel they did everything in bad faith and I would NEVER EVER use or do business with them again.

      You do NOT want to do business with this company! Very bad customer service. Loose paperwork, relationship managers tell you complete opposite stories as to what they need to help. STAY AWAY !

      Absolutely the worst - their customer service is horrendous, and their lack of business ethics is just mind-blowing. I don't even want to take the time to go into details with this situation. Just do yourself a favor - never do business with this company, trust me. Take a look at all the negative reviews - this is the way they do business, and it's the norm, not the exception.

      This company has terrible customer service! Their website does not show any monies that you have sent them, I pay my mortgage weekly and they do not apply it nor does it show up on their online portion and allow you to see it. Theyre online portion shows a different amount than what is actually owed, and when I called in to have this rectified, they said that I would have to ask for them to apply the monies that I have sent in to the account balance. They wont just go ahead and do so. Theyre only suggestion to fix this issue was for me to just make the full monthly payment at one time every month or I could call in and pay $15 each time and have them take my payment over the phone.. my mortgage was sold to this company and I had absolutely no say so in it and now I can understand why.

      Terrible customer service and terrible at running a mortgage company. Sold our mortgage while we were one month ahead on our mortgage but did not inform the company we were ahead. Had to call and deal with their terrible customer service for 20+ minutes to get a supervisor (obviously they are busy with all the terrible service their representatives are giving). We would suggest never using Specializes Portfolio Servicing.

      How are these people in business? They have been harassing me with false information and requests. They have sent me multiple letters that I need additional insurance, but when I call to ask about it, they tell me that I dont need the additional insurance. Yet they did lender placed insurance the day before they sent the letter twice. Then they call me with an urgent message that my payment wasnt received, but I call and they say sorry it was a mistake. Your payment was received just fine. I have 3 inches of letters about problems that they say that Ive had however, each time I call Im told to ignore the letters that they are sent in mistake. Its just an endless list of mistakes and harassment. I had no choice in my servicer. But if your lender is ever mega capital funding, find someone else because SPS is who they used as the servicer and it has been a nightmare to say the least.

      Absolutely the worst ***************** No customer service, representatives actually argue with you. I literally refinanced my Mortgage to get away from them, they then held $4k hostage for months until I went to my Attorney General! If they get your Mortgage.....RUN!
