  Absolutely the worst ***************** No customer service, representatives actually argue with you. I literally refinanced my Mortgage to get away from them, they then held $4k hostage for months until I went to my Attorney General! If they get your Mortgage.....RUN!

  Sps put me in foreclosure months after there was a "satisfaction of mortgage" for my house. They hid that from me. Once I found out about it,they dropped the foreclosure case. Then months later they claimed, My father took out a loan that was 26 years old, but they didn't have the original. They showed me a copy of the "loan", that seemed forged. It looked nothing like my parents signature, I told them to show me the original, but they couldn't find it.they claimed,the copy was just as good. I told them a copy is garbage Plus my parents signature looks fake, so I'm fighting it in court. They were constantly trying to get me to get rid of my house. I refused, and was adamant that we go to court. Then, not long after that, they dropped the foreclosure court case.

  If your loan gets sold to SPS Select Portfolio Servicing, *** refinance right away. These people are right out thieves. They were financing my house and when we requested payoff amount they ***luded the current month, which is understandable only that I sold the house on 7/10 so it had passed ONLY 10 days of mortgage and they charged me half the month for those 10 days in fees and more crappy fees. They should be audited and sued.

  SPS Portfolio is a joke no way these people ( underwriter ****** continues to ask for the same info repeatedly. For one they denied my payment back in Jan of this year sent me a letter they claimed which I never received concerning foreclosure. I immediately sent all info they required . Ive lived my my home 18 years single mom raising my son and daughter they were 5 and 4 since we resided there . No way I will let them take it . After I have done all the right things they have FAILED to comply like they have done others as I have read . I have even had to file a complaint, these people are and have defrauded me , continue to charge atty **** and late **** when they know this should not have even gotten to this point . Its just so stressful , if they only do the right thing as we do what they require and ask for . We continue to get screwed and jerked around . I know Im Eligible for a program which needs to be resolved and resolved quickly. So tired of this company , apparently its not me , as I read other complaints they are the same issues .

  Complaint Against Select Portfolio Servicing Utah Select Portfolio Servicing has repeatedly failed to properly manage my escrow account. Despite multiple attempts to resolve issues through their customer service department, representatives have been unhelpful and unable to provide accurate or timely information.The companys processes appear designed to make resolution unnecessarily difficult, and they routinely fail to meet the response timelines they commit to in their own communications. These delays and lack of accountability have caused ongoing frustration and inconvenience.I am requesting that Select Portfolio Servicing take immediate corrective action to properly manage my escrow account, honor their stated response timelines, and provide clear, accessible customer service.

  I am the sole successor of my mother's estate and have been paying the mortgage since 5/20 and they have been excepting the money. I have sent in paperwork to prove I am the administrator of estate, and they have denied me because I am not on the deed for over 5+ years. This was a modification company that was supposed to be helping my mother. It turns out they are scam company which used to be Fairbanks mortgage I know this because the account number is exactly the same. There is an intent to foreclose and our last payment they sent back. I've gotten letters from them this month with last year's date that was over a year old. Someone has to stop them from taking advantage of people.

  The *** payoff statement included interest for 30 days beyond the payoff date. Having no choice I paid the amount demanded. They now claim that it will take them up to 30 days to refund the overpayment.These people/systems are supposed to be competent. Yes, they are great at cheating former customers out of timely refunds.

  This is the worst place to do business with. I have been trying to get a modification since January. The underwriters keep asking for the same information over and over again. I feel like it's a stalling tactic. I am disabled and I am sick and tired from stressing with them

  I'm CONVINCED I got RIPPED OFF by this so called company, but I have no way to prove it..The absolute worst company and people to deal with !! They should be shut down!!

  We had a negative experience with this company. Thank God we've dodged the bullet in having our loan transferred from them to a new servicer. In alignment with all the other negative comments echo how ridiculous it is that they want to charge additional fees for trying to make timely payments. Please stop choosing them for customers!
