      I HAVE A HOME LOAN THAT IS CURRENTLY BEING SERVICED BY SOMEONE ELSE. SATURDAY, 1-14-23, I RECEIVED A NOTICE OF TRANSFER LETTER FROM SELECT PORTFOLIO SERVICING **** STATING THEY WILL BE MY NEW SERVICER AS OF 2-1-23. MY CURRENT SERVICER, KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THIS ACCORDING TO THEIR RECORDS. I DO NOT WHAT IS GOING ON HERE, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE A SCAM IS BEING DONE HERE.

      If I could give this company less than one star I would. Absolutely terrible trying to assume my parents loan (even though the property is already transferred into my name through the county). They wont let me talk to or have someone call me from the back office handling this transfer. They just send the same documents over and over to fill out and return which I have already done. They keep telling me I need a deed signed by the owner (they are dead) and that none of my lawyer documents will work which makes no sense.

      I have been making additional payments to my principal since the beginning of the year; but it never seems to go to the principal it goes to the interest. When I call them to make them aware of what happened. They ask me am I filling out the payment voucher right. Well yes duh I have been filling it out for 18 years now. So it takes them months while my next payment goes to the unadjusted balance. They blame the problem on their machine. Well if you know the machine is not properly applying payments then fix it. This is misappropriation of funds. But they didnt they continually used that excuse., for a whole year now. That is enough time for it to be fixed. Then I was told to call in with principal payments. Didnt try that yet, but again its going to be an excuse.

      Worst mortgage company you can have even 1 star i way to much for them. They charge fee if you can to make a payment or pay on their app. Ive been waiting on a piece of document from them for nearly a month trying to refinance and leave them and still havent received it yet. I read somewhere that they are being sued too which it didnt surprise me. Stay away from this company at all cost

      I made a partial payment on October 14, 2022. I was told it was to be put through on the same date. We'll, it was not. I checked everyday , and it was put through days later, unfortunately, there wasn't enough money in the account to cover it, so now I'm being penalized for a s**** up you people made!!!! This company is the worst! I've also faxed over my Mother's death certificate, and every time these people are telling me they did not receive it!! Seriously!! You also do not talk to the same person when you call, so they have no clue what's going on... This is a lousy way to do business...

      If there is anyway possible that I could rate them a negative zero I would. I made a double payment on my mortgage, so I called to have a payment refunded back. I was told that they would process the refund and it would be overnighted to me. After (3) days I received no refund, I call again spoke with a supervisor who advised she would escalate my request to have my payment refunded. No refund after 15 days. I called back spoke with a representative who gave me a tracking number for the refund that was sent overnight and that I should have the refund on that Wednesday. No refund on Wednesday call back spoke with another supervisor who advised the number that the representative gave me was not a tracking number and that the refund was not processed, Again the supervisor will escalate the process Requested to speak with the manager no manager was available. The supervisor advised that she would send the manager my number and name to contact me. No call at all. It has been over a month and I still have not received a refund. SPS the worst company ever.

      SPS is terrible.**************** is friendly enough but they charge a fee for me to use their app to pay my payment. Mute only way to not get a fee is direct deposit or mail in a check. So, what is the logic that if I write a check and a human has to open the letter, process the check and deposit it, there is no fee.If I use an app with no human involvement, there is a charge.Total rip off and very shady if you ask me. They are making money in a dishonest way knowing that people want conscience. **************** couldnt explain the logic and actually said that she gets multiple complaints every day about this. She was nice enough, its a shame she has to work for a low life company.

      If there is anyway possible to avoid SPS Service, do! For that matter if there is any way I could rate them lower then a 1 star I would! I have been trying to work with them for over a year now and I am constantly getting the run around. Every time I receive their "Get Letter", I submit the requested information right away. So far I have provided a year worth of bank statement, paycheck as well as a letter of offer that I received from my employer that clearly show I am full time and NOT seasonal that SPS is constantly stating. They do not look at the information they request and they will ask for the same information 2 months down the road. If they look at what has been requested and submitted, they would not ask the same question over and over again. Don't even bother to call and ask for a supervisor. I have year to hear back from them let alone any one of them able to fix their own problem of not reading the information that has been provided. I have never in my whole life dealt with incompetence at the level they are providing!

      Had my note modified to fixed rate a few years ago. After 15 years I am now satisfied my low Mortage payment which includes Property ***************************************** and ****************** I never thought I would have a house worth so much now. Thanks SPS??
