    Insurance check was $8,000

My car was in a hit and run accident when I was working. I took the car in February, the insurance company sent me a paper check in the mail to get it fixed and took it over to the work shop in Early January. The man who was fixing my car claimed that he needed the check first to buy the car parts, in that case I took it down there as soon as I got it. He also claimed to say that the car wouldn’t be there longer than 2 weeks. I called him after the two weeks were over and he said that the parts haven’t come in yet so he told me to called him again the Thursday after that 2nd week. I kept calling every Wednesday/Thursday about my car, it been over a month and he hasn’t fixed it. He kept going on and on about how he has other cars to fix but he said that my car would be a priority first. I kept calling every week and then 3 months passed, the car barely got done. He said that he made a mistake by buying the hood for my car from someone and never got back to him, he ended up buying it from the company of my car. It was the last week for month 4 and he told me that he had to go on vacation so his brother finished the car for him while he went on vacation, he never finished the car either, some parts aren’t even on the car. That was a total of 4 months of my car in the shop I got the car back in the end of May

He refused to show me proof of payments that went into my car
The company took too long to fix my car and they never resolved the issue even though claimed that it wouldn’t be longer than 2 weeks
