      Proline coustomer service is the worst. I purchased the ProVWC range hood and it did not come with a blower. The mounting hardware that came with the unit was massivelly inadequate. There is no way that you could hange a hood of that size and weight with the hardware provided. I had to go back and order a blower and spent another $600.00. The blower unit came with a mounting bracket that would not align with the mounting bolts on the hood. **************** was no help. The fix was for me to drill new holes in the metal mounting plate. The install manuals are generic (no specifics). Online videos don't apply to the majority of thier product line. You have to make educated guesses in order to asseble and mount thier range hoods. Parts don't match. The transition piece provided with the hood units had to sit on the top of bolt heads. Very poor engineering and design. Don't do business with this company.

      very poor customer service. parts were missing. I was assured they would be sent out. After several weeks still no parts.Do not use this company.

      Proline Range Hoods has shipped the customers replacement parts twice, both shipments were returned even after reaching out to the customer to confirm the address and preferred carrier. We will reach out to the customer to get this issue resolved once again.

      My new vent hood has gone out 4 times since I installed. They have sent not working and damaged parts to me to fix several times. Their customer service **** is horrible. If you ask to speak to a manager, they just tell you to email them. I am so sick of this company and this vent hood that i just ordered a new zephyr hood. Couldnt imagine the customer service could be so horrible with an appliance company. Also, they do not refund anything after install. Which is insane to me because if something goes wrong, you wouldn't even know it until it is installed.

      More detailed timeline of events. Our venthood went out 1 month after installation. They sent a control board with no instructions. Control board fried after install. Sent a 2nd one with instrucitons, but it was missing a pin and defective. They sent a 3rd one that seemed fine, but when i installed the vent hood still didnt work. They sent out a new display and it was able to work a little. It still didnt perform as advertised. Then the vent hood went out again day before yesterday. Fan was barely working and just stopped. I turned it off and then back on. It blew a fuse at the breaker panel and made a pop sound. I called and finally just asked for a refund. They said that they dont give refunds after install. I dont understand this, because you only will see a problem if it is installed and being used. I asked to speak to a manager and they said she wasnt available. They told me to email and she would get back to me. I sent an email with no response and no phone call. I want my money back because this thing hasnt performed, the company hasnt honored their warranty, and my vent hood is sitting in my kitchen not operational.

      Customer ******************************* has emailed and called in a few times for replacement parts and assistance with their hood that was not working. We have sent the customer numerous parts under warranty. All parts have worked for a little while and then also burn out with the same original issue. The customer did not test the hood per ********************** return/exchange/warranty policy, if the hood had been tested prior to installation Proline would have happily offered a return or exchange. The replacement parts burning out after a short amount of time and the issues the customer is experiencing tell us that the customer is having an issue with the amount of power going to the hood. It appears there may be too much power and that is causing an overload to the circuit board and electrical components within the range hood. The customer called in yesterday not willing to work with us on replacement parts and demanding that we issue a refund for the hood they have installed and still have in their possession.       Customer service is terrible! They claim to be a very small company and are having problems with personnel. The same sad excuse used all throughout Covid. They stated they only have one person in the warehouse and three ladies answering the phones. I have been waiting a week to get information on my range hood insert. No manual comes in the box, only a generic online manual. There is no video online for my model. If you need to buy a range hood, I suggest you go to a larger company that has better customer service.

      This company is such a rip-off! I ordered a range hood that I wasnt even opened and had to return it due to structural limitations in my town home. Proline not only would not cover the shipping fees to return the item(s), but also charged an OUTRAGEOUS RESTOCKING FEE!!! This literally left me with less than $200 after spending $870!!!! This is OUTRAGEOUS and should be ILLEGAL!!! The company would not make any compromises to even meet me half way with all of the return fees!! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! Will GO OUT OF MY WAY TO WARN CONSUMERS ON LINE SO MORE PEOPLE ARE NOT SCAMMED into buying their c*** on line!!! I will educate everyone I can and let them know to buy their range hoods from Lowes and/or ************* Otherwise these rip-off artists will continue to steal thousands of dollars from customers with their COMPLETELY UNFAIR RETURN POLICIES!!! These people need to be STOPPED!!!!
