      The number here does not do anything except give you two options that go to a fast busy. I have not received the glasses I ordered almost 3 months ago as per Standard Opticals statement that they would be shipped as soon as manufactured. Is there another way to reach the former company? Or steps I can take through the BBB for contact with Standard Optical? Thank you.

      I purchased glasses from Standard Optical (Sugar House, **), October 9, 2023 and was told it would be 5-10 business days to receive them. It's now March 13, 2024 and I have not received them. I've reached out to their ***************** ****** and made in-person visits for an update, only to receive "we can't provide you an update". Incredible waste of my time, and very unprofessional firm. I've had to reach out to my insurance to provide a claim as well as reverse my benefits, so the headache continues. Hopefully I will receive my reimbursement without any issues.

      I ordered and paid for progressive lenses on Oct 9. I was told it would take 6 weeks, which I thought was a long time to begin with (I was not told that there were problems with their supplier). Little did I know that 3 months later I would still be waiting. I am using a 3 year old prescription and desperately need my new glasses. I have called multiple times and keep getting told that the lenses are on back order with the supplier. When I contact headquarters to get an explanation (calls/messages and emails) they do not even bother to return my messages. And I'm leaving town for several months.

      Terrible business! Never answers the phone, closes locations early. Taking 3-4 months for glasses?not acceptable

      Wow! I wish I would have looked here first!! They staff was friendly and seemed helpful but they did not know anything about when glasses would be completed. The first time I went in I got a frame that fell apart in a few months. Thinking it was a fluke, I ordered the same frame. It broke the same day!! They were not able to give any reasonable answer for this. When I asked for a refund I was refused, even after talking with the District Manager. I ordered a different frame and was told it would be ready in about a week. When I did not hear from then after two weeks I called. They did not know what was going on. I continued to call, they said they would call me with info and never did. I was not able to get through to the District Manager, it seemed she was not returning my call. They staff did not know that she was on leave. I also spoke with the Vice President. No one could tell me when my glasses would be ready. I would call about every two weeks. I would ask for a call back when they found out, THEY WOULD NEVER CALL BACK. I continued to ask for a refund and was denied. I order my first pair in September 2022, they final pair in February and it is still not here and no idea when!! I finally asked my credit card company to deny payment. They are doing that. When I called the business to let them know, they still have not reached out to me. Beware!! Do not do business with this company not only for such terrible customer service but also a unreliable product.
