      Claim to working with homeowners to keep them in their homes. Only to drag you through a rigorous process especially if your self employed. I was happy with my previous mortgage company only to find out that it was sold to this company. Try to do online payments only to find out they charge you $15 per transaction. If you have an insurance claim on your house they hold the funds until the repairs are done. Can't wait for the RV.

      To this may concern:I have asked Select Portfolio ************ a.k.a. SPS **** for validation on the account they claim I owe them. They state that they are a servicing company for my mortgage.SPS incorporated is reporting to all 3 credit bureaus that I owe them for a home I believe SPS incorporated is in violation of the fair credit reporting act section ***** and fair debt collection practices act section 807-8.I have requested for a copy of any viable evidence bearing my signature showing that I have or ever had some contractual obligation to pay them. SPS incorporated has yet to provide me with the requested documents. I have sent a certified letter on 10/24/23.They keep sending me the same documents over and over. The documents have nothing to do with what I am requesting.

      over paid 19k to escrow. They said the check was in the mail in September. its December now and still no check. I keep calling and calling. They cancelled and reissued check twice. Still in the mail. It's been 3 months

      SPS is the worst company ever!! I've had the same documentation issues as everyone else that has complained. I don't understand how we, as the consumer, have no say in who handles our homes financial well being! I advise every employee, who are trying to do a good job, to find a new company to work for. I'm waiting for a class action law suit to be started for inhumane practices.

      Worst company to deal with mortgage. I wish consumers have more say in which lenders we choose, rather than us getting passed around like a toy. Where is the consumer protection agency?? They messed up on my name, despite all my original paperwork showing the correct name. They even admitted it was entered incorrectly on their end. I called in at least 5-6 times, before they finally changed it. I asked about incorporating our Supplemental property tax into our payment.. kept going back 5-6 times, every time it’s always the same. “We will escalate this to the manager. I will personally call you back next week.” Nada. Nothing. A month ago, still no update. You’d think for all the money they take from us in interest, they’d get their act together. So frustrating.

      To whom it may concern. This is regarding. Select Portfolio Servicing P.O. Box ***** **************, **. ***** - 0250.www.spservicing.com I can honestly say. This is the one of the most incompetent, ********************s I have ever run across. I filed Chapter 7. Back in. 7/22 /2020. Which relieved me of the house that I had financed through them.And here it is today 11/24/2023. And they still have not acknowledged that Ive filed Chapter 7.You can call them up and explain the situation and you get absolutely nowhere. They only want to hear what They have to say.You can write them a letter. And that will never get read.You cant send them an e-mail. Because theyre worried about security reasons the only thing they will except is a fax, Well fax haves gone out with the dinosaur.They dont have an office, That you can physically see somebody or shake somebodys hand to deal with the situation. So to me, thats not a company. Personal opinion I think they work out of their closet.If you go to their website. And on their reviews section. You will see not one Positive feedback written anywhere about them. People only leave one star. So that you can leave a review. To try to warn others about them.Upshur ****************** Are still sending me a bill? Each year Pertaining to this house. And Im not even living there, Sold the house and land back in 2022 And they as well as ASPs. Are to ignorant To open attorneys letters, And read the latest update. From year 2020. Because They are another ******************** themselves. They dont pay attention to paperwork. Not even if An attorney sends it to them. Just like SPS but that will probably be another letter.Please look into this. You will find SPS does not need to be in business. They are as dishonest As they can get. If you try to call them. And if they have caller ID. They probably won't

      I would give them zero stars if possible. First, our loan was sold to them a few years ago. Our payments were always automatically deducted from our checking account on a bi-weekly basis. When SPS took over our loan, all that changed. *************** weren't automatically deducted. When we tried to setup autopay, they would not allow us to do bi-weekly payments. Therefore, we had to call them every two weeks to make the bi-weekly payment. Finally, after about a year, they setup the ability to make bi-weekly payments. Fast forward to end of loan...now our final payment is due. There was no auto draft from our account, although their documentation states that autopayments will continue until loan is paid in full. We call and they tell us we have to send last payment as wire or certified check. We were never notified of this, to which they admitted. So how were we supposed to know this? This company is unprofessional and do not follow their own policies which they have in writing. After reading other reviews, now I am fearful we will not receive the documentation and paperwork that our loan is paid in full since many others have had that issue. If you can, get as far away from this business as possible. We tried but were stuck because of how little we owed when they bought our loan. We decided to ride it out because of all the fees and penalties they were inflicting on paying the loan off early.
