I’ve been a Qualtrics user since 2011, when I first signed up as a student. I think the platform itself is excellent—I’ve made multiple referrals over the years and speak highly of their product. In recent years, their customer service has declined significantly, and after years of ongoing frustration, I’m trying to close my account and walk away.

Over the past few years, I’ve been passed from one account manager to another. Some left the company without notice, others stopped replying altogether, and there’s been no real continuity or ownership of my account. Even basic things like getting my name spelled correctly in the system have required repeated back-and-forth. It’s exhausting.

Recently, I missed the cancellation window for my renewal—narrowly. I hadn’t signed a contract in years, and I forgot about the auto-renewal clause. I’m sure I was notified by email, but at the time I was in an ongoing back-and-forth with support over other issues. I dropped the ball. That’s on me. When I got the non-payment notice, I reached out and requested a cancellation.

I’ve now spent over a month going back and forth with multiple people over email. I finally thought I was making progress with someone—and now I’ve been told my case is being “consolidated” and pushed off to yet another person. Once again, no closure. Just another handoff.

I haven’t used the account. I’m not planning to use the account. It’s a plan they don’t even offer anymore. My business doesn’t currently have the income to make this payment. I don’t understand why, under these circumstances, they can’t make an exception for a long-time customer who has made multiple referrals to them over the years.

Consistent, prompt communication and some level of value would go a long way. The fact that my name is repeatedly misspelled, that I’m bounced between representatives, left with long gaps between responses, and have to chase people down just to get basic support—that’s not good service.

I received and email message from Qualtrics which states that I have been billed $299.67 due by 11/30/2024. I didn't open the attached ebill because it required me to download/install an app. I tried contacting Qualtrics at ************, the phone doesn't ring. The email message says "If you are enrolled in Auto Pay, the total due will be automatically deducted from your account, and no further action is needed". I also attempted to upload a copy of the email message as a .pdf but I received an upload from your portal several times. I have no idea if these guys have my account information. I've never heard of them until now. I don't want to be contacted by this company anymore. Thank you.

    Hi *****

Thank you for reaching out. Qualtrics provides a self-service platform whereby the individual or company using the services would be the entity that sent you the email. That being said, our platform is typically not used for payment purposes. We would advise that no payment be made in relation to this request.

Please let us know if you require anything further.

Just got email with ebill from Qualtrics stating I have balance of $299.67 which will be paid from my auto pay account by 11/2024. Never heard of Qualtrics, therefore have no account with them. Is this a scam? Regardless, please resolve.

I received an email on September 3 that appeared to come from Daniela G**** at Qualtrics from an email address that looks suspicious, warning me about "risk of 3rd Party Collections" for a subscription order of over $4000 that I did not place. I called Qualtrics and spoke with Tristin E****** in sales. Tristin forwarded the suspicious email directly to Daniela G**** at her real Qualtrics email address (**********************) asking if the invoice is a scam. I emailed Diana directly on Sept 3 and Sept 5 and have received no response at all. I emailed Daniela 2 pieces of evidence: first, a receipt for the 1-year subscription that I paid in full when I did hold a 1-year Qualtrics subscription that ended in June of 2022, and second, an email that Lane F******** emailed me on June 13, 2023 at 6:17 pm Eastern Time asking me if I would like to renew my Qualtrics license for another year. I never responded to Lane F********** email because: 1) I had cancelled my subscription a year earlier and 2) Lane F********* was not the person who sold me the original 1-year subscription in 2021-2022, and 3) I did not want to order a new subscription.
How can I get Qualtrics to correct/cancel the erroneous charge and how can I avoid the risk of "3rd party collections" when I can't get a response from Daniela G**** and I can't get through to Qualtrics by phone?
