May 11, 2021 installers for Utah Valley Granite came to put in our countertops. As it was being installed we told them the pieces did not look good and to stop! 4 out of 5 pieces are different colors. There are cracks & flaws in the finish. We went to the shop in Pleasant Grove and owner proceeded to scream & swear at us. Refused to look at pictures we brought. Owner got up in my husbands face and threatened to hit him. Then berated us and said we were trying to cheat him out of his money. My husband brought a bank envelope from his pants pocket & said we had his money. Owner snatched it from him, turned his back and told us get off his property. We did not GIVE him the money, he took it! His own policy : cash payment paid when job is done and customer is happy. Well, neither is the case. It's not done and we definitely aren't happy. I've never had such filthy language said to me before. After the treatment we received we only want a refund and be rid of the lousy product installed.
