ION Solar installed the solar panel since October 2023 and since then my xcel energy bill has not gone down and the system does not seem to work. Every time I call the customer service, I reach no resolution.
At last, this week they increased the monthly payment from 160 dollars and they took 233.46 dollars without informing me.
I would like them to review and if possible to come home again and show us how the system is really working as the electricity keeps going up.
      Thank you

Thank you for sending this complaint over to us. ION Solar is committed to addressing our customer's complaints.  We value customer's feedback as an opportunity for our company to improve, furthermore ION Solar will review this complaint and will work towards a resolution with the customer. ION Solar has made contact with the customer to work towards a resolution to the filed complaint. ION has asked the customer to provide utility bills in order to better evaluate their consumption vs production. When the system is designed, it is created using information provided by the customer and the numbers we provide are in good faith estimates.   Additionally: In the signed Customer Installation Agreement(CIA) on page 4

OWNER ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ESTIMATE NATURE OF SYSTEM INFORMATION

Owner acknowledges and agrees that the System Information set forth in this Agreement (including but not limited to the production estimates, savings/offset estimates, etc. set forth in the box above.) are good faith estimates only that have been based on data, information and input provided by Owner and for which Owner is solely and exclusively responsible. Owner further acknowledges and agrees that estimating solar production and usage is not an exact science because many factors such as weather, equipment placement, customer preferences, utility company rates and/or policies and procedures, third-party solar technology and equipment, power outages, equipment failure, tree and foliage growth, changes in Owner’s own electrical usage, etc. all impact such figures, estimates, production, and offsets. Accordingly, Owner hereby acknowledges that all such conversations, figures and estimates, including but not limited to those set forth in
the System Information sections of this Agreement (regardless of whether presented verbally, in a pamphlet or other advertising materials, as part of a sales presentation or otherwise) are all provided as estimates only and not as any sort of guarantee or contractual commitment of any type. Owner acknowledges and understands that Contractor is not and cannot make any guarantees whatsoever with regard to the actual production or usage of the Solar System or any offsets to be realized as a result thereof and that under no circumstances will Owner request (or Contractor be obligated to pay for) any expected utility bill offset (or any other offset of any kind) not actually realized or earned. Additionally, Owner acknowledges that solar system equipment generally experiences an average annual degradation in production of approximately .05% per year (sometimes more and sometimes less depending on how fast the equipment and components age, etc.) for which Contractor is not responsible or liable. Against the backdrop of all of the foregoing, Owner hereby knowingly and unconditionally waives and releases any and all claims Owner may have against Contractor (or any of Contractor’s agents) that in any way arise from or relate to any estimates provided to Owner and/or to the System Information and specifications set forth in this Agreement, including but not limited to system size, estimated production, estimated savings, estimates offsets, projected use, or annual degradation, etc.

Microvinverter has not been responding for months on our Solar Panel. I contacted Ion Solar about the issue in December 2024 and again in January 2025. They always say there will be someone from their team to call me back but no one ever calls me back. My system is under warranty but now they are saying my labor warranty has expired but refuses to provide documentation of that fact and demand $250.00 to fix the problem even though everything is under warranty. Ion Solar (Anyelo) said if I use someone else, they will void the warranty of my system all together. I was told that I could speak to the manager in regard to the issue. The manager was supposed to contact me via email or phone. After a week, I called back because, once again, no one has contacted me. I was told that I could NOT speak with the manager and they would NOT transfer me under any circumstances. January 3, 2025, at approximately 13:30, an employee named Anyelo ensured me that the manager would contact me via email or phone in regard to the Labor Warranty and possibly wave the fee since the last time they messed with that panel was less than a year ago before it went out again. January 10, 2025, at approximately 08:57 an employee named ****** told me that if I didnt give them $250 there was nothing they could do and refused to let me speak to the manager. Under no circumstances would she transfer me to the manager. They still havent provided any documentation stating that there was a different warranty. This is the same microinverter that they continue to fix, which should reset the clock each time.

We originally began working with ION Solar in May 2022. On May 3, 2022 the design for the soar panels was completed. On June 21, 2022 we submitted paperwork to our HOA for approval. ION Solar began installation of the solar panels on our home on Aug 11, 2022. On Aug 30, 2022, the entire system was officially completed. On Mon, Sept 30, 2024, my husband walked downstairs to go to work and discovered that our roof was leaking water into the family room. We had a roofer come out to inspect and it was discovered that ION Solar had actually installed our panels in the wrong location then moved those panels to the proper location. This left holes in our roof in the location that the panels were initially installed. The installers sealed the holes but not one of the installers let us know any of this when they did the job in Aug 2022. Over time, the sealant began to shrink and that is how water was able to pour into the family room. On Tues, Oct 1, 2024 my husband contacted ION Solar for payment to cover all of our damages. It took ION Solar until Dec 30, 2024 to get us a proper Resolution Agreement. All documents were agreed upon and signed. We still have yet to receive the funds from ION Solar, yet all of the damage has been repaired. Our contractors are waiting to be paid. We now have to contact a lawyer because ION Solar has repeatedly lied about when we would receive compensation for the damages they caused to our home. Every time I call, they tell me that the check is in the mail. But they have now given me 2 different dates as to when the check was actually mailed. "*****" said the check was mailed on Dec 30, 2024 and "****" said that the check was mailed on Jan 4, 2025 but we might not get it until after the *** holiday. How this company has a Triple A+ rating is beyond me. Their FB page has horrible reviews about the integrity of this company. For this reason, and poor customer service, ********************** should not be allowed to do business with anyone.

In June 14 2024 we ordered and was approved for on June 20th Ion was released to install. $39,512.00 By July 8, Ion was completely installed. Core electric had to come out 4 times , with 4 rejections because they did not install properly. I missed all of July, August, September, and October and 17 days in November before they took my advice and met Core Electric rep on site. I lost over $500.00 in summer sun because there faulty installation. I also do not agree with the concept of paying for something that doesn't work. Therefore, I should not have been forced to make payments to Dividend until the equipment was up and operational. IoN did reimburse three months, but should've been reimbursed for one more month of $255 so my total claim is $755 to get fair customer satisfaction.

Ion Solar installed solar panels on our roof and they were installed incorrectly. We have a contract that clearly states what they neglected to do and they are refusing to address this, to even call us or respond to numerous emails and calls.

On Monday 16 December 2024 at 17:54 US/Pacific, Hadem Nazarri (sp?) *again* solicited at my door in violation on a "No Soliciting" sign. I didn't realize until he left that it was a repeat until I went to leave this review. I had to ask him three times to leave my property but he just kept pitching.Back in 2022 (more below) I also spoke to an executive at the company and was told back in 2022 I'd be on their "No Solicit" list, as you see in reviews below the company responds and says they do. It's a bold-faced lie. This knocker also offered the same, but I am sure they'll be back in 2 years to knock again. I also viewed him knocking on doors of my neighbors who also have No Soliciting signs. On Thursday 25 August 2022 at 12:35 US/Pacific in *********************** Ion Solar representative who identified himself only as *** and would not give further contact information ignored the clearly displayed "No Soliciting" sign displayed prominently on the property and proceeded to disrupt the household, with folks who work from home present and visibly working via the window, to make a sales pitch. When asked why he ignored the "No soliciting" sign, he said that he "thought the sign was cute" so he knocked (the sign has a cute image of a dog on it, but clearly reads "NO SOLICITING").When I phoned the company, they said they never heard of "***", but that they do engage in door knocking practices for marketing. I asked to be sent a copy of their guidelines for employees who do this (specifically wanting to see if they are instructed to follow No Soliciting directives), and they refused.I encourage folks to avoid this company due to aggressive and inappropriate marketing tactics.

I received a loan rejection from ******** in November 2024 and did not apply for a loan so I contacted the loan company. They responded to my complaint and said they received a contract from ION Solar for financing a job. I have never worked with/spoke with/ or conducted any form of business with this company and I would like to understand Why they tried to open a loan using my information. I would also LOVE to know where they found my personal information. Do they have my social security number as well? A team member from ******** has been trying to investigate and reach out to ION Solar but never could get ahold of them. This sounds sketchy and VERY ILLEGAL. I would like some kind of resolution that is fitting to the degree of severity.

I worked with sales person Cody B***** and got my roof inspected 10/25 before putting the solar panels on 10/28.

Since then Ive been waiting for the follow up inspection/permitting that was supposed to be within 2 weeks. Noticed leaking on 11/14 with a heavy storm and they sent someone out to assess the damage and sent photos.

They sent me a message on 12/9 that this is a separate issue to be looked at an not caused by them because the panels are on the front part of the house and the hole is on the back part. However they accessed my roof through the back part of the house to do the install already determining the roof was good to do the install again doing an inspection through accessing the back part of the house.

Seems that this is part of their business model from the other reviews left on here.

This company has come to my door dozens of times in the past 1.5 years I have lived here trying to sell me solar panels. When I say no they ask me why and won't take no for an answer. I've asked them to take my house off their knocking list, but they still come back a couple of months later the exact same thing happens. I want them to stop coming to my house.
