  My Gadget Guard screen protector cracked, but they would not honor the warranty. When I entered my credit card information to pay shipping and handling), they would not accept it, and said my credit card wouldnt process the transaction because of an AVS mismatch (my address and bank address on file dont match). I checked with my bank and credit card and not only was this not true, no attempt had even been made to charge my card. When I confronted them with this information Gadget Guard said they still wouldnt accept it, and insisted I had to open a ****** account to pay or they would not honor the warranty. I have had two phishing attempts from scammers claiming to be ******, and I didnt want to open an account. I offered to give information over the phone but was told that was not an option. When I refused to use ****** she ended the chat. The warranty information included with the protector did not state that any damage claims would have to be done through ******. I shouldnt be forced to open an account I dont want, and that could potentially leave me open to scams.

  I spoke with a **** today about my lifetime replacement warranty did I purchase at my local ******* store according to this lady I register but I did not put the pin number in when only a moron commence where it says pin number nice and clear or will I register one thing but not do the other it did not make any sense to me and according to what this lady was telling me is that I could replace the screen protector but I cannot get my phone screen repaired my question was what is the sense of buying a screen protection if it's not to protect your screen my next question was the screen protector is $50 or 60 and the phone is ********* dollars why would I care to have a lifetime replacement of a screen protector when it's not protecting the actual phone screen her reply to me was that she couldn't do nothing else that she was ending this conversation and simply end it the conversation

  Hi *****, Thank you for the explanation, we are sorry for the confusion. Your guard came with 2 separate warranties. The first is the Lifetime Replacement Warranty which allows you to order a new guard for just the cost of shipping and handling throughout the life of your device. This warranty does not expire. The second is the GuardPlus which allows you to file a claim for reimbursement of screen repair cost should your phone break with the guard installed. This is good for one year from the purchase date. You are past that one-year time frame which is why a claim cannot be filed. We hope this helps to better explain why a claim cannot be filed.   I have been a customer of *********************** screen protectors for a while, and believe they result in ample protection on the device. However, I do have an issue with the installation instructions. The instructions are very bare and leave room for question on the proper steps to installing the screen. Thus, I have been irritated with the physical appeal of every screen protector I have used, resulting in me switching to other name brand competitors with an easier installation process. Great product. However creating ample instructions is not difficult.(Yes, I watched the online video on installation. It is very poor.)

  I regsitered a product following their steps and the registration of the warranty was accepted. When my screen broke, I filed a claim under the warranty. They refused to act on the claim because the receipt I uploaded when registering didn't have the date on it. It was months later so I no longer have the receipt and they refused to honor the warranty, even though they confirmed I had registered the product I purchased. I won't be purchasing anything from gadget guard again.

  If I could give them a zero for customer service, I would. I purchased a bottle of Tech Tonic last year for $19 and was told it came with free refills. Requested my first refill yesterday and was told by the company that they no longer sell that product and I would have to buy their replacement product. Poor customer service.

  The overlay for screen came in the mail with a spider like break in the glass.Overall, easy to install, and big improvement compared to previous screen. I wish it was perfect.
