We had a few bumps along the way. Overall pleased with the craftsmanship of the home and the construction crews. We had many delays/push backs for our home but it sounds more like a communication disconnect from the superintendents and the offices. The superintendent quoted us almost to the day of our home being completed while the office sent our 30 day notice about 60 days from completion. It was also disheartening to receive a 30 day notice and about 5 days later receive a price increase. Jesse was more than helpful in getting everything completed as fast as he could and it was done well. Shortly after moving in we had a horrific rain storm but our home remained sealed like a dish. It was so comforting to know our home was crafted so well and it was a safe place to be. Not even to mention the quality of our cabinets that were included, among other higher quality amenities that are often considered add ons else where. Our home is perfect for our first home and we have loved it thus far! It did seem like a price increase should be illegal AFTER the 30 day notices have gone out. We had already applied for our mortgage and they had about 8 months from the day we signed to the day they sent 30 day notices to let us know of a price increase. I can’t complain too much since the price was still well under the appraisal value, it just felt a little slimy.
