I reserved a location and my $2000 deposit was taken. I had to contact the sales department multiple times to book another day- which after much assurance that it would be taken care of never was. A month later when reviewing my credit card transactions I noted that the deposit was returned. I once again contacted the sales department and was told they would find out what had happened. After not hearing from them I called in and spoke to someone who told me it was a mistake and that the deposit would once again be put on my card and that the reservation was in the computer. Today I received an email stating that they are so sorry but the place we reserved has been booked in the interim. As opposed to try and remedy the situation they just told me that they were sure I couldnt afford another property. How do they know what I can afford. Do not to business with this company!!!

We stayed in **************** at Paradise Village, #**. It was a terrible experience with UBVR. The hot tub wasnt working and hadnt been working in some time and no one bothered to tell us or responded to our concerns about it after we found out. There was dried snot on one of the comforters. But that was minor compared to what happened 45 minutes after we left. My daughter realized shed forgotten her wedding ring set and a bracelet. Housekeeping had not arrived yet. My daughter immediately contacted ***** at UBVR and begged for a manager to go over and retrieve the jewelry before housekeeping showed up. ***** was rude, callous, and apathetic. She said she was in ****** and the manager in St. ****** had the day off. After three hours of repeated desperate phone calls to *****, who became more and more belligerent, ***** informed my daughter housekeeping showed up and surprise no jewelry was found. She then said UBVR was not responsible for any personal belongings left behind. That *** be true in some cases, but UBVR had notice there was an issue and did nothing to help. It was not only intentional negligence it was cruel. Looking back at their reviews, this has happened before. We filed a police report but clearly, these are not good people who are managing these rentals. Beware. As for us, my daughter is heartbroken, as Im I. Her engagement ring was once mine. I gave it to her after my husband passed away. We are devastated especially since this could have easily been avoided.

I recently stayed at one of UBVR rentals and was not satisfied with the accommodations especially for the price we paid ($2500/2 days). The photos on the web site do not accurately depict the worn and dirty state of the bathrooms. It also doesn't show the large air unit in the living room that is very unsightly. I would have appreciated some honest feedback prior to booking. If the house is worn then show it worn. If there is a problem with the A/C that requires an extra unit then it should be shown. I left a review but could never find it posted anywhere.
