on Sep 27th I purchased a d brought home a sectional couch and matching ottoman. 33 days later I noticed a burst zipper on the back attached cushion and that the other part of the sectional already has creaking wood. I contacted the store by email on day 34 and they advised me they didn't give refunds but customer service would call me the next day. Today customer service called me and explained no refunds would be offered, however the couch was under manufacture warranty and so they would order parts that may take up to 10 weeks to come in and then a repair person would come and dissect the brand new couch section and repair it. At which time they will look into the creaking section and also attempt to repair that section also. I explained that after barely a month of having this couch i had hoped seen as it was a faulty product that I was sold I would be refunded and the dispute with the manufacturer and there warranty was between them. I don't expect to pay $1500 to sit with a defective couch holding in it's stuffing with duct tape and a defective frame that won't even be looked at for possibly 10 weeks while we wait on a manufacturer sending them a part to dissect and repair my brand new couch!! I said I was unhappy with there offer of repair and stated I surely have some consumer rights with a purchase this large and I didn't pay full price for a repaired couch and I expected better business from them. They told me I should take pictures of the defective couch and if i wanted customer service to ask the store manager to do more then I must include an email citing my consumer rights to do more than just repair the brand new couch. I explained there was websites like Utah department of commerce and BBB and other online resources that talk about rights but I don't have the technical know how to pull them off the internet and put them together in an email. I need help please, I want to return the couch, I will even take store credit.
