      I made an appointment for a free consultation for some dental work at Aspen Dental. My appointment was for June 14th @8:00 am. I went to the appointment and received estimates on the work I wanted to have done. When filling out paperwork for this appointment I was asked for insurance info which I provided. I asked why they needed it for a consultation and was told that they always ask. I had a great appointment and owed nothing when I left, as I expected. A few weeks later I received a statement from my insurance that Aspen had billed them, then shortly after I received the bill, which was about 7/14 for $250.00. I called Aspen Dental to find out what they were billing me for and had to leave a message, which was never returned. I left several messages, all of which were never returned. I received 2 more bills since then. I have left several messages on the phone, as well as in person messages with staff members. I went in and was told that the person I needed to speak with was in a meeting and left a message for her, but again, no return call was ever made to me. Call attempts were made once again after the August bill, and no return call again after I left yet another a message. I finally went back to Aspen Dental and was still told that she was unavailable. I now feel avoided and feel I do not owe for a free consultation. The operations Manager is Kay Patterson who is also the person that did my estimates. She has returned zero calls in all this time. I can't even have a discussion with anyone about this bill except her, or so I'm told. I went to an appointment to get estimates on dental work and if they did something during that appointment they were going to bill me for I should have been told, so I could refuse. This was a free consultation after all and I did not expect to be billed. I can not locate a main office for Aspen Dental and all roads lead me back to the office I went to. I have not paid this bill because I don't feel I owe for a free service.

      I went in for wisdom tooth removal, I provided the necessary insurance information to the office I was at. They failed to bill insurance, sent 1 notice of the account being sent to collections over a year later. I called their billing department, and was informed there was an issue with the insurance and were not billed. Went back to their local office to learned they had entered the information incorrectly. They still have yet to bill insurance and have sent the account to collections.
