**** and switch company that won't honor their warranty. My fairly new thermometer was sent in for a repair under warranty and they tried to charge me for it then tried to give me the option to "upgrade" instead.

Thermoworks bait and switch. The Thermoworks ******** ad is deceptive. They offer a 10% off then another 5% off if you sign up for SMS, which I did. Then when you get to the payment the code is invalid. I had to chat with them and they said it is only good on full-priced items. So what about the 5% SMS bonus. I guess not. It didn't ring up on the final cost. A phone screen is not big enough to warn you and I imagine they know that. What a waste of time. And their chat agent never apologized. Another bad sign.

We had issues with our SS refrigerator/freezer. It began cycling from 78 to 34 (refer side) and 36 to 58 freezer side at < four years old.We lost $300-500 each time the home warranty repair folks said everything was fixed, as the unit failed again and again. The home warranty spent $3800 to fix a $3200 unit and then gave us $1900 to replace it. Luckily we already had Thermoworks sensors when we replaced the SS hunk'o'junk with a ** unit.Setting Refer 34 and Freezer to 10 we assumed everything was ok with a new unit, luckily we used our Thermoworks as a precaution. Near 10PM we received an alert that the refer was below freezing. We adjusted the ** to 40 and at 2AM received another alert that the refer was below freezing. Ultimately we had to set the ** to a *** temp to keep the refer @ 33-34.A few months later after a power hit, our Thermoworks saved all of our food items ($1400) when our 33yr old ** shutdown. Power cycling had the unit up and running in two hours and we lost nothing.Spend a few dollars, get these to monitor ANY & ALL critical temperature areas you have. The audible alerts are somewhat weak for the hearing impaired, but our Shepherds alerted us each time that something was wrong when we could not hear the audible warning.Note: A BlueT or wireless notification model would be nice.We spent < $99 for our Thermoworks which saved us well over $2800 total and alerted us to faulty repairs by home warranty techs. If you have the need, these are it and they WORK!Ordered more today for house level thermometers as they are accurate and cheap.Thank You TW?
