1 starWho does not offer returns and only store credit?! For the price of the dresses you spend you would think that there would be refunds back on your credit card. Now i am out $500 to a store I will never support. This is ridiculous, they are taking my hard earned money. I have a baby on the way and this is such a waste. Worst business module.Baltic Born

Hi *****! It looks like we have been in contact via email since this review, but since January of 2020, our official return policy for all customers has been returns- for store credit only. As a smaller, sister-run business, we found that in order to continue offering our products to our customers throughout the world, we would need to enforce some stricter return policies due to the rampant issue of unsustainable returns being sent back in worn or damaged condition. We understand that not every return will fall under this issue, but enough do occur day-to-day that we instated this blanket policy that applies to all items and returns.Baltic Born

1 starLike others have said, you cant return an item for cash, only for store credit. I wouldnt even think twice about needing to check an onlines store return policy for how much they charge for their dresses. You would think it was a reputable business based on their mission statement but in reality theyre just taking advantage of women, not empowering ******* a plus size woman, I always am nervous about shopping online and was disappointed immediately by the quality of this dress, then even more disappointed by the fit. Too snug. Then when I went to return, finding out the my only option is to get credit for a store that the dresses dont fit me. So, Im keeping a dress that doesnt fit that I spent nearly $100 on after taxes and shipping. Unless youre in standard sizing and okay with paying for your own shipping if you have to exchange, dont shop here.Baltic Born

Our policies are located in several spots including the links at the bottom of each webpage, the drop down search menu and under the ******************** tab on all products. We understand that this policy may be unfamiliar to you and wish that we had the capabilities of larger stores, but since we are a smaller, sister-run company, we had to enforce some stricter return policies due to the rampant issue of unsustainable returns being sent back in worn or damaged condition. 1 starThis company deceptively allows you to order dresses online without warning you that they don't accept cash returns. The only option is store credit! 1 starIm extremely disappointed with Baltic Born and will never be shopping here again. Be warned: they do not issue refunds under any circumstances only store credit. This was not made clear at checkout, and it feels intentionally deceptive.I placed an order expecting a standard return process like any reputable retailer. Only after trying to return the item did I discover the harsh and inflexible return policy buried in the fine print. Had I known upfront that Id be stuck with store credit, I never would have made the purchase.Their lack of transparency and customer-first values is a huge red flag. 1 starI was very hopeful to try this company after receiving so many ads for their beautiful dresses. I was encouraged to see their hassle free return policy and figured I had nothing to lose by ordering 4 dresses in 2 different orders. I'd try them and if I wasn't happy, I'd get my money back. Little did I know that their return policy is not a return policy at all. During the return process there was even an option to select for a full refund but did I was unable to select this as a valid option-I thought it was a technical glitch. Turns out it was all a trick! Instead, I wrote a note on my return slip indicating I would like a full refund. 10 days later I receive a store credit via email. Emails to customer service have gone unanswered for 4 weeks. Way to pull the wool over consumers eyes with your unadvertised "no return" policy. Sure, its in the *** but this is false advertising. I'm now out close to $400 on clothing I do not want, a credit I will not use. I should have checked BBB reviews before purchasing. Worst company ever. Worst customer service ever. 0 out of 10 recommend.Baltic Born

Oh no! We replied to your email and were in contact with you back and forth since May 11th! We're sorry if you didn't receive our most recent reply! Although we have big goals with our companys growth, we are unable to offer the most flexible policies possible, similar to those of larger corporations in todays market. 1 starDO NOT buy clothing from this company. We never received our order and then when asking for a refund, we went on this month long journey of back and forth of failed promises. They finally refunded 20% of the order, then another 40%, and now a month we are still shorted he final 40%. Worthless customer service with just template email responses and no way to talk on the phone. Do not waste your time or $$Baltic Born

1 starThe return policy at Baltic Born needs serious improvement. I understood ahead of time that refunds are only issued as store credit, but from their website thought I would be able to do an exchange - when I went to initiate the exchange, I was only given an option to return it. Its unreasonable that theres no option to exchange an item for a different size, forcing customers to return an item, wait for store credit, and then repurchase the correct size is inefficient and unnecessarily frustrating. A basic exchange option would go a long way in improving the customer experience.They claim their small business size prevents them from offering refunds to the original payment methodbut that doesnt justify penalizing customers for the reality that bodies vary and not everything will fit as expected. A customer-friendly policy should reflect that. I have emailed them but based off other reviews and the fact they don't have a dedicated email for customer service, it may take awhile to have this issue resolved. I've shopped with other small brands that handle returns and exchanges far more thoughtfully.Baltic Born
