I am absolutely outraged and deeply frustrated with how your company has handled this entire situation. All I did was ask for a quote nothing more. I was specifically told that no action would be taken until I received a quote and gave my approval.Yet somehow, I ended up getting an email saying the work had already started, and my item was being shipped to *******. How is this even possible? We immediately called to stop the process because we never agreed to move forward yet despite our efforts, we were told it was too late and that we now owe $3,****** make matters even worse, you are now refusing to return our external hard drive. This is absolutely unacceptable. We've spoken to several people, including ***** *******, who was completely unhelpful. Honestly, at this point, it feels like you are holding my hard drive hostage. We trusted you, and you completely ignored our instructions. I feel deceived and taken advantage of. Now ***** has emailed me, saying they'll reduce the fee to $2,000 but I only have one day to decide or else I'll face a 10% late fee after 14 days. This is infuriating because I never authorized this work in the first place! To anyone thinking of using this company beware. This has been a nightmare, and I wouldnt wish this experience on anyone.

Hi *******,I'm truly sorry to hear that you're frustrated, and Id like to offer some clarification regarding your concerns.Weve been in communication primarily with your husband, who completed and signed our service agreement. As part of that agreement, he selected our ***************** which clearly states that work will begin immediately in order to expedite the recovery process and avoid unnecessary delays.Upon receiving the signed agreement, our engineers immediately began work on your drive, which had a serious mechanical failure. After several hours, we successfully overcame that initial hurdle and sent an update to share our progress. It was only after this point that we received a request to stop the recovery process. By that time, six hours of labor had already been completed.Per the terms of the agreementterms which require users to review, check a confirmation box, and sign digitallyit is clearly stated that if a Priority or ***************** is canceled after work begins, you are responsible for the labor hours worked up to that point, regardless of the final recovery outcome. While we understand this situation may be upsetting, the responsibility for selecting services and understanding their terms lies with the signer of the agreement. Despite that, and in good faith, I offered to reduce the full recovery price from $2,995 to $2,000, including the new transfer drivean offer we were under no obligation to make.We understand that emotions can run high during stressful data loss situations, but threatening our team and posting negative reviews after we followed our documented process is unfortunate. We're not holding your drive "hostage"we're simply retaining it as collateral until payment for completed work is made, as outlined in the agreement. That said, we are still willing to find a resolution that works for everyone. If you'd like to revisit our offer or explore another option, were here to help and open to respectful discussion.Sincerely,************************************************
