    I was almost done with my loan in the 90 day period and I was told by an agent that whatever my current balance was would be double. Which was only about ****** left. They not only doubled it, but quadruple the amount to start me all over again and also added taxes on payments and the balance. These people are just as bad as sharks criminals in the alley waiting to break your legs for money. All the money I invested to them was just for nothing.

    To begin, i only leave 1 star because i cant leave 0.This is by far perhaps, the worst company I've ever dealt with. I have had 4 accounts with them, I always paid early ALWAYS. Then they adopted a policy I guess that a payment unless made on specific cards doesn't stop auto payments. 2 payments in a row costed me 2 full payments and in 1 case NFS charges thru my bank AND ACIMA !!!! It does **** to have bad credit, unfortunately we who do must suffer this sort of thing but it don't make it right and I will under no circumstances EVER, use this thief again.

    ***** was contacted during the first week to schedule the pickup of a sofa, as I was preparing to move. My account has always been up to date. I was given the pickup date of 11/28.On 11/25, I called to confirm the pickup, and the customer service representative confirmed that the pickup was scheduled. I called the morning of 11/28 again to reconfirm, and at that point, I was unexpectedly informed that the pickup would not take place. I then spoke with a supervisor, who stated that ******* was the manager responsible for the pickup and that I would receive a callback. I did not receive a callback within the 2-hour timeframe provided. When I called again, I reached another agent who was unhelpful and claimed he would note in my file that I had provided no information, despite my request for all details and previous correspondence to be documented.***** then offered either a $153.28 settlement or the option for me to donate the sofa on my own, which would require me to locate a donation facility, rent a truck, and transport the item myself. This offer doesn't seem to address the inconvenience or the failure to follow through on the confirmed pickup.When I called back to discuss the email containing these decisions, I was told that ****** was not available. I was transferred to another supervisor/customer service representative in the ***********, who said he was the only one available.I hung up and called again, reaching a U.S.-based agent who said she was located in **** and would assist in resolving the issue. However, she then transferred me back to the *********** call center despite stating she was in ****. These are unacceptable and unprofessional business practices. ***** is using offshore call centers for low labor costs at the expense of customers, as the representatives are not properly trained and do not understand or document my account details. They are playing games at the customer's expense.

    My glasses and contacts cost $500 and because I wasn't able to pay it off in 90 days the overall cost was $1200. I understand charging interest but over 100% interest is a scam. I will never use their services again. This company is a joke and I will make sure everyone I know never uses this service. The CEO should be ashamed but greed clearly is over shadowing these people.

    These people will take you for every ***** you have. The "early buyout" option they present you with is not the actual amount you'll pay even if you buyout early. They will charge you a "fee" for their "service" of over 300$ plus tax which is calculated after their "service" fee is added! Don't know what type of "service" is anyone is getting except for screwed. Oh and if you need to "return" your purchase for any reason, they WILL NOT refund you a ***** of any amount you have already paid. I wish I would have actually read this contract word for word before signing because none of this was explained to me! Seriously, find any other way to buy something!

    Worst company to deal with. Went through this option for a mattress was advised *** pay off the matress in 90 days. Was told the pmts that were being made would go toward the balance and we could pay off the remaining balance 90 days, but not the truth the payments being made are not going toward the balance at all that we would still owe the full price at 90 days then I am being double charged made a pmt on the 14th of November took care of the payment that was due, but was then charged another payment the same day called them they said that the extra payment would go toward the balance and that the payment made would take care of the automatic payment coming up. That was not true because now they are saying I have a late payment. 100% do not recommend this company it is the biggest scam. If I could leave no stars I would that is how terrible this place is.

    How is it that this business is allowed to operate? There are 400+ negative reviews and +1000 complaints yet they have a A+ BBB rating? I have never made a complaint on the BBB but want to warn people THIS BUSINESS IS PREDATORY. I second all the complaints that say once you pay off the amount you borrowed, youre locked into a Lease that you now have to break (at a cost of course). So, you pay what you borrowed but even if thats paid off, youre still obligated to pay cima for the remainder of the 12 month or 24 month lease even though youve already fulfilled your obligation. So my $1100 bill is now a $2800 because of this lease but my product has been paid off and I have no idea what I am leasingyes, I get that was in the fine print of the 6 page legal document that is very confusing. Long story short, this place has predatory practices and hurts people that are already hurting financially and offers little to no help. I will be making further complaints in order to warn people of this business.

    I'm a current customer of ********************, I am VERY dissatisfied with the service. I'm currently leasing Refrigerator and a Freezer, and I was told I had a 90 day option, and when I went to pay on the 90th day, I was told by customer service I had to wait on the 91st day, which meant the 90 day option was expired. Now I have to pay, a whole new lease. This place *****, think twice before using acima. They will rip you off and take advantage of you. The consumer.

    Acima gives you the option of a 90 day same as cash but when you make an extra payment it doesnt go towards the principal. From my understanding, their reasoning is that you skip the next payment and the 2 or 1 week payment starts from that payment. Which isnt explained in the contract. If my payments are scheduled in the contract shouldnt it come out on the schedule time. Isnt that like breaking my contract. That which makes it impossible for some people to pay off in 90 days.

We do not offer "same as cash," and are clear about this in our information and disclosures. Finally, every single payment you make will be counted towards the 90 day early purchase option. It's simply that if you pay your rent amount early, we won't take the next rent payment automatically until it is actually due.
