    These people stole $85 from out of my account unauthorized & address the situation without a police report! Who exactly do you file the report against when THEY ARE THE ONES WHO TOOK IT!!!! I have no affiliation with this company at all & they clear are criminals. I would highly recommend to not consider this company! Again, I HAVE NO AFFILIATIONS WITH THEM & YET THEY WERE VERY RUDE & HUNG UP ON ME! P.o.s work here & could care less!

    I leased a product through Acima and returned it in good condition, well within the time frame outlined. Their website clearly states:If you no longer want the merchandise and want to cancel your lease, you can return it in good condition at any time without penalty.Despite following this policy exactly, Acima still charged me initially and after arguing they dropped it to a $3 fee after the return. When I questioned it, I was told it was a prorated charge but that completely goes against what their public-facing policy says.Its a minor amount, but its the principle: if a company says no penalty, that should mean no hidden or surprise charges. This feels deceptive and unethical, especially for customers who are trying to do the right thing and return items properly.Customer service was unhelpful and didnt acknowledge the contradiction. Im disappointed and frustrated by the misleading language and lack of accountability.

    This company will nickel and dime you out of every fee they can. We purchased a bunk bed for our kids ($845) they decided to loan it out to us at ($945) and then say in order to pay it off after all their fees it would cost us over $2000. When we called to figure out why it was so much the *** very condescendingly explained the fees and then said if we didn't like it to surrender the property and pay for a whole new bed we could afford. If I could give less than one star I would.

    I have asked and been told several times I will be emailed my lease forms as they are inaccessible in the app or online, according to conversations "their app is experiencing issues" yet I still after 2 months have not received the lease agreement in full after multiple requests. I even gave my work email address and still nothing has been sent. Why are they not required to mail/email you this once it is completed? Why do I have to continue to ask for this paperwork if I would have known it would be this much of a pain I would have just paid outright for the Item I used them to purchase.

    One of accima workers name ******** I belive he is on ****** location or long beach location his name is ******** sexually haras his coworker which is me.and he offer a *** to me .now I need the justice cuse for that my marine life got ruind.i have proof of what I saying here.acima worker ******* is *** offender

    I would never do business with Acima. They are liars and add things to your contract without your consent. None of my lease papers have my signature they type your name there self. They also have extremely horrible customer service.

    I give a 0 stars really bad business, scam all the way. **************** is something else. The lack there of is ridiculous. I paid all my purchases off but the interest. But they tried taking more then what there supposed to that's when my bank took notice. Then after that it's been an attack after attack. So I asked them to just come get the stuff I already paid for. So now they avoid the problem. Bye not scheduling. The pick up. Because they know they can get more money by scamming people.calling family members asking for personal information.

    Overall rating: 0 out of 5 stars Do the math before you sign the dotted line!!! Below is an example of the mess I dealt with. Scenario: You are at ****** Furniture store" and want to purchase a bed and couch but build your credit. So the store refers you to Acima ************ Acima explains the loan process and says they are leasing you the furniture while you pay off the loan + interest. Though extra complicated you understand that payments are made directly to the Acima and proceed. Total Furniture Cost is $4600 with interest. You are granted $4000 in credit and need to pay the remaining balance up front. You pay $600 and agree to the conditions and then make a 2nd Payment $1000 one week later. Remaining balance $3000 1st Month: Acima Charges $800 in leasing fees 3rd Payment Made $1000 Remaining loan Balance: $2000 2nd Month:Acima Charges $800 in leasing fees 4th Payment Made $2000 Remaining loan Balance $0 Paid $6200 for $4600 furniture. What in the hell???? I failed to realize that Acima would also charge me a leasing fee while I pay off the loan with interest. The payments I made was not going towards the leasing fee but towards the loan which is separate. They directly take the fee out of your bank. So you auto pay $800 in rent and then making payments to buy. You do not get the money back if you pay off the furniture in less then 12 months. If I dedicated only $1000 a month to furniture, Acima takes $800 and then I could only pay $200 a month it would take almost two years ($200/$4000=20 months) to pay off the furniture and I would end up paying (20 months x $800 rent) $16,000 for $4600 furniture!! How do you build credit if you deal with *********** like this.. your in debt forever!!!

    Extremely unprofessional, overpriced, and lacking in customer understanding. I contacted ********************** to settle my balance just a few weeks after missing a payment, only to be told I had called too early and needed to wait 60 days before being considered for a settlement. I was trying to be proactive, but instead received vague and unhelpful guidance. If Acima is your only financing option, I strongly recommend reconsidering. You could end up paying 3 to 4 times the original cost of the product.
