We have had this car for about 5 years now. When we first got it, we took a loan for *****. After some years go by are car ****** drops down and price as if we never paid anything to the car. Every Employee that we have talk to is very rude they talk to you any kind of way and we recently got in to a car accident and we took are car to a shop to get fixed and they are very rude saying you guys are supposed to sign us a check but we took are car to a body shop to get fixed the lady was rude that i was talking to they are taking our money and not putting it towards the car at all it still says the we owe ***** , I always ask them why are car isn't going down and they always tell me the same thing this by worse company to get a car from they scam people for they money and the send you text message over and also making threats all the time about coming to pick up the car because they are asking for more money after we make are car payment they call the next and is asking for another payment or a day that we are going to pay .Business Response

I went to purchase a car prestige was the bank who approved me. However I provided them the information they requested I kept getting calls that advised me they couldnt verify my employment. My job doesnt call the company to confirm that information.when I provided them with a supervisor information they stated it was fraud without even confirming fraud. But what really happened is I work for a job placement agency who doesnt participate in job verification. So I then asked my Supervisor at my actual work place to verify my employment. Prestige never called her nor email her. They put something on my credit to alert banks that my job could be fraud. These dealerships be lying too I never even provided a supervisor name nor explained that my job does the placement but I go to another company kinda like temp agency I just provided check stubs and utility bill. Now Im trying to purchase a vehicle and prestige has put an alert on my credit to make other lenders question obtaining my business this is unfair and slander if they havent even done their job properly or asked the right questions now I have to suffer I hate this company and never ever want to deal with them. I had them in 2017 and I couldnt wait to get rid of them this company has caused. ******* on my name and credit they did not do their do job. Hello,Ive been a customer of ******************************************* since 2022 Ive made over 16 payments to my vehicle and prestige never reports my payments . My interest rate is through the roof even after I ask them to change my payment date they have refused to do. So the interest is building on my account. I feel like they do not tell you everything about this company and there are more hidden fees and interest that grow quicker than other auto loan options. Also the rate they give you is high but the rate that they add money is just catastrophic. Please help others and review your contract before signing with this company.Business Response

On 12/14/23 ****************** reached out to Prestige for a payoff quote and spoke with a rep by the name of ***** who gave a quote of $21,377.22, which was indeed an incorrect quote. With the quote given Allstate processed the payment for the claim while believing with that quote that I was due a small percentage of the vehicle evaluation as the amount paid for payoff would leave over monies. However after doing follow up on 1/31/24, it was discovered that the payoff amount given was incorrect and gap will not start their payment process until the issue is rectified. How should I as the consumer be penalized for something that I a.did not provide and b.was not made aware of any inaccuracies. There has been no outreach from anyone to let me know what was happening. I would just be stuck with a bill due to the negligence of one representative.Business Response
