      As of this complaint, I have never heard of Vive. Credit karma alerted me that they openED an account with my name. I contacted them and they said they would open a fraud investigation for me. I would like to know how people can just open an account in your name with no proof of identity? I just wanted to make the complaint so it is on record that I did not open an account and want this corrected. I have also placed a freeze on all credit bureaus and are in the process of disputing on all three as well. This is very disheartening when you work so hard for great credit.

      I have been paying this account for years, automatically every month out of my checking account. I got a notice in the mail saying the account was closed due to "poor credit performance ono your account with us." This is not accurate. In the years I've had this account there may have been 2 or 3 late payments but all the other payments have been paid on time and in full. Not only this but I received no warning that this was happening and when I called to get further explanation their customer service person couldn't give me any details beyond what the letter said. This is not good business. I would recommend people stay away from this company.

      I have tried to arrange with this company for a payoff. They refuse to discuss the option. I have paid them the total original amount of the loan at $5,000.00 plus $2,200.00 and when I called to settle on a payoff they stated my balance is over 3k remaining and that they will not settle. I do not understand how companies get away with this. If BBB does not step in on this situation I will hire an attorney and file a complaint with the attorney general.

      Accepted card for purchase on 8/24/2019. Had auto payment set up for reoccurring monthly payments. There were several times they would skip a month and then the following month take two payment and even a occurrence where they took three ( all without authorization). Company is seeking an additional $517 and spoke with rep who confirmed they did not have the authorization to pull more than one payment and saw it was set to monthly auto payment. On 7/25/23 asked for detailed ledger to review for unnecessary late fees and accrual of interest. Did not receive requested ledger. On 8/9/23 rep called again and was notified of no ledger received and stated they sent an email offering 40% off. Advised this is not a ledger and requested again. I demand the company report a full accounting and adjust all unnecessary late fees and accrued interest due to their negligence. It also reflect on my credit report that the account was charged off and transferred for recovery. Which is it? Are you attempting to collect your fraudulent late charges and interest or is another entity?

      I am rejecting this response because: The received ledger has over $560 in late fees assessed that were never late and a mere adjustment of $184.  I want the company to fairly adjust to indicate that I was never late, because there was an auto pay on record, of which they would charge every other month and assess a late fee between.  With the amount they are billing, this would more than zero out the account.

      I am rejecting this response because: My bank did not reject any payments from Vive.  I had checked with the bank each time a representative would advise me that it was declined.  ******** and my my bank records indicates that a payment request was not attempted.  Short of you issuing the adjustment, I will be seeing you in small claims court.
