      Had solar panels installed almost a year ago. The experience was excellent. Installers were friendly and completed the work quickly and professionally. Our solar panels have been producing more electricity than expected, and the emergency power system we got gives us a lot of peace of mind. Would highly recommend.

      ***RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN***When I first signed on with Smart Wave in late Jan, 2023 I was excited for my project. My consultant ****** did a great job of explaining exactly what the process would be and how their equipment was better.On two occasions when they showed up for install the plans were incorrect. Their installer even said he wouldn't sign off on it, if he were in my shoes. Next, they told me they resolved the errors with the plans. MUCH LATER, they told me I needed a main panel upgrade to resolve the issues in the plans, which they had already told me were fixed. The main panel upgrade has been put off multiple times. In the meantime I'm paying close to $1000/month on the solar loan due to how it's structured. I've missed an entire summer of production and my system is STILL not operational in mid DEC. Theyve messed up site surveys several times. Ive been sent to multiple different people in leadership (no owners though) who havent resolved my concerns. Im going on almost 12 months without being operational. They asked what they could do to make me happy, I told them then they said no as an answer and offered no other solution or consolation. I just want my system operational and to be done with this company.Update 12/10/23 After SEVERAL visits form their electrician and the city inspectors, and several changes in the plans - after saying I should be operational soon. They just let me know recently that my main electric panel needs to be moved, they'll have to cut through lots of sheetrock and are not willing to pay for it.Somehow none of this was calculated, communicated or planned the first 10 times (literally) that they changed plans on me.Just a month ago it was additional trees needing to be cut down (my neighbors nonetheless), and ******** literally blackmailed me by trying to say that they'd pay to cut those trees down if I took down my review on SolarReviews.com.I'm almost 12 months in and have no operational panels.

Subpanel Upgrade and Relocation: At no cost to you, we conducted a $5000 subpanel upgrade when your jurisdiction determined it was necessary.4. Arborist Expense: We covered the $725 cost for an arborist to trim trees when your power company determined it was necessary.5. Executive Director Contact: We facilitated direct communication with an executive director to manage your concerns effectively.6. Project Timeline Report: A detailed report outlining the reasons for project delays, along with our efforts to expedite the process, was provided.We acknowledge the critical error made in matching the electrical panel early on in your project, leading to delays. Taking full responsibility, we promptly corrected the plans and compensated for any resulting delays.It's important to note that, outside of the error in matching the electrical panel, none of the other delays were attributed to our actions. Despite unforeseen challenges, we remain committed to delivering a fully operational solar system. We understand your frustration with the abnormal number of delays, and we appreciate your patience. Our team has worked tirelessly to address each issue and prioritize your project.If you have any further concerns or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.       Really poor Service. If you run inot a problem you can not get any help. I started the process the first of May. My system Smart Wave put in apparantly does not pass code. It is know December.

      I started the process of having solar panels in stalled in June. It took over 10 months to get the project functioning. Ten months of excuses and broken promises. I was told over a week ago that I would receive a call for a work order, I am still waiting to be contacted. This company does not seem motivated to fulfill their obligations, or provide a reasonable amount of customer service. I will not go as far to say that they lied to me, but not one deadline was met, I had to make two payments on the product before it was functional. They also seem to have an issue answering their phone, compound that issue with they rarely if ever contact you by phone. I have noticed a go to move that they make by sending emails at the end of business day, so theres no one in there to reply if you have an immediate response.Example:I called the representative for service on their product on 3-5-23 I was assured that someone would contact me by phone to schedule maintenance either that day or the following morning. On 3-7-23 at 4:50 pm I received an e-mail stating that a technician would be by (with a 5 hour window) on 3-33-23 now excusing that the date they stated does not exist on the calendar I use, they have yet to return my call trying to schedule a proper day for service.

      We adamantly would NOT recommend Smart Wave Solar. We signed a contract with them in June of 2022 and still do not have solar working at our home. We are now paying for solar, and we are not able to use our solar panels. The company will respond quickly and come out, but they just dont seem to get things working. The first delay was because they could not get the panels they sold us, so they had to order different ones. They were installed in October. There were some delays with the city saying things were not right. You could blame the city, but Smart Wave solar electricians had to come out 4 times before they got it right. Finally, in February they got everything hooked up. They system would not come on because there was an error message and they have not been out to fix it. We have even talked to the owner in ****** and his response was something like we install fire alarms? Not helpful at all. This has been an expensive mistake and we regret going with Smart Wave Solar.

      This customer had a ground fault due to a pinched wire that was fixed on 3/14. The system is now functioning properly and producing as expected. We are also sending a roof crew out again to double confirm. We appreciate this customer and excited to support them for years to come.

      I've met with Smart Wave Solar. The presentation was informative and was able to answer all my questions. The emergency power backup was extremely appealing. What I appreciated the most was being told that with all the trees I have solar isn't a good option for my home. I would do business with Smart Wave because they put customer satisfaction and honesty above a sale.
