I have on January 20th 2020 went to the ER for health issues. I provided my co-pay and insurance. And almost a couple years later, I was served papers from a constable showing that I owed Mountain Land Collections a large sum of money. I called the insurance company and found that the hospital didn't file a claim and calling the hospital about it, I found that they misplaced my co-pay. I informed Mountain Land Collections agency and The Law offices of Quinn Kofford about this and they refused to hear my side. Mountain Land Collections sent me a document to sign. Reading it through I discovered that it was a promissory contract agreement. I did not sign it at all. And told Mountain Land Collections and Quinn Kofford that they really should confront the hospital about not filing claims to the insurance company and misplacing my co-pay. And I refused to sign the contract. Some time later, I was served another bunch of papers, and it shown that I allegedly signed the contract as when I looked at the signature, I found that it wasn't mine, that it was forged, I tried to let both Mountain Land Collections and Quinn Kofford know about the forgery and I found in the mail that I lost the case as I had a failure to plead. And I'm now owing a lot of money. I also discovered from a law office who wishes to be unnamed that I allegedly signed other agreements which I haven't that waived my legal rights to a attorney and a fair trial away.
