    We hired shutternice to redo the floors of our small home in Orem, Utah. They were to remove the old hardwood from the kitchen area and bathroom to replace it with tile/mortar/base layers that we purchased per Shutternice's description. The two bedrooms, hallway, and living room were to simply be sanded and coated with a standard topcoat. They completed their work while I was working out of town and my wife/baby were with me. When we arrived back home, we discovered several things: tile/garbage in our backyard, the top of our toilet was broken, they'd sanded deep/permanent grooves into the hardwood floors, the top coat was extremely uneven and almost missing in places, there was topcoat that has been spread on the tiles in the kitchen as well as on most baseboards in the home. When they put the base coat in for the tiles, it dropped into our basement all over our clothing and appliances we had temporarily stored down there. There was tile mud on doors and walls throughout the bathroom and kitchen. I notified the company numerous times, and only reviewed a response after a good review. They came out to our home, and after another two months of coorespondance they finally fixed the toilet, but have done nothing to fix the tile or topcoat for the wood. It's now been months and I can't get anything fixed, and oke of their employees just texting my wife telling her that we need to take our Google review down and that we are taking advantage of their small business. My floors are permanently damaged, and they are hardly doing anything to fix their negligence. I would like to request a refund on this project equivalent to what it will cost me to have another company fix the problems they created.
