    ***BBB note (HBLO): Consumer did file a previous complaint (CID XXXXXXXX) that was seeking for the dealership to repair the rust. However, it was determined that that concern and desired resolution could only be fulfilled by the manufacturer (Ford) as a potential defect. Consumer has been advised of the BBB AUTOLINE complaint program to try and pursue that specific remedy with the manufacturer. That complaint has been closed out with a non-reportable disposition. However, the consumer did have a complaint with the individual dealership regarding customer service concerns. BBB requested for the consumer to re-submit their complaint with the concerns solely focused on the issues with the dealership directly. Please see below for those details*** Thank you for taking the time to speak with me earlier today and listen to my concerns. Below is the summary of my experience with the inspection issues and what I am seeking from the dealership: On 03/22/2022, I purchased a brand new 2022 Ford F-150 from the Wichita Falls Ford-Lincoln dealership. The pre-delivery inspection (that I also paid for in my sales contract) was not completed, as legally required. Unaware of this, I took possession of the vehicle. I found out after the fact that this was not done. I returned to the dealership to have this performed and the documentation was only vaguely filled out; however, they failed to perform the inspection properly yet again. I know this because shortly after, I crawled under my truck to look at something and found the entire undercarriage was rusted out. The rust is so extensive, the dealership even stated it is not repairable. However, at this point, they refuse to take any responsibility for failing their due diligence of inspecting the vehicle prior to selling it to me and their negligence has left me with a truck that is not only unrepairable but significantly devalued. While I understand Ford Motor Company is liable for upholding the warranty to "repair" the damage (or make me whole), the dealership is equally responsible for failing to perform their mandatory Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) that would have prevented them from selling me a defective vehicle in the first place. This has prevented me from selling or trading in my vehicle at the value it would have been worth had their negligence not occurred. I attempted to contact the dealership today to request a copy of the inspection but I was transferred all around the dealership (*******, ******* ******* and then ***** I was told my file was flagged where only the General Manager, ****, could speak with me about the truck but he dodged my call (last time we spoke, he hung up on me) and when I emailed him for confirmation, he told me he was going to be out of the office rather than just sending the copies. Please see attached documentation to support my claim. As for remedies, I would like to request they either provide me a brand-new 2022 F-150 with a thorough Pre-Delivery Inspection performed that is the equivalent of my current vehicle or completely cancel the contract and take the truck back.     this place and thier bait switch salesperson along w the sales and gen *** rip off cutmors, wont refund **** down pymt or trade up to another vehicle, its u ****** the car and u are stuck with it, they still have my down pymt and the new vehicle as i left **** off

    **************** came in and purchased a new Escape that he test drove and selected himself, signed a contract and never returned to dealership. Wichita Falls **** does not do any Bait and Switch. We are very transparent and upfront. We have called numerous times, left voice messages and even texted for him to contact me so we could unwind this deal. He has never returned a call nor shown up at the dealership since he left here to go clean out his car. We can't refund or unwind anything until he comes back to dealership. If he will return to dealership we will be more than happy to assist ****************. New Car manager spoke to him and told him that and he still has not returned.
