    I paid a deposit to the Brentwood Timberline Apartments when I moved in there of 300 dollars. They didnt save my deposit in a separate account and utilized it for other expenses. I have moved out of the apartment on October 25 when the lease expired. They apparently used it towards rent that was due in August. They also had me move out on the 25th when my lease expired and are refusing to prorate the rent to reflect the week that I didnt live there. The keys were surrendered to the apartment office at 2 pm on the 25.

    I moved out at the end of my lease 7/31/2023 without owing any rent. I had a walk through before turning in my keys and they didnt have any problems with except for 2 blinds which the manager said she would let me know. I got a call from a collection agency stating I owe over $500 to Brentwood apartment. The collection agency didnt have any documentation as to what the money owed is for. I called the apartment complex and the office manager stated for blinds, etc. they have never sent me any invoice though I have received several emails from pertaining to promotions. My problem is its unfair that they put it in my credit without giving me an invoice. It sounds like retaliation for leaving since am not the only one they did that too.

    I was doing laundry at the laundry mat and my clothing was stolen and the office is doing nothing to replace it or find out what happened to it. It was over $400 worth of clothing

    This is an unfortunate loss but we do not have cameras in our laundry facilities so there is no way to see who or when they where taken. It is unfortunate that your items where stolen but we are not held reliable for your laundry if you left it unattended in the facility. We will be working with corporate on trying to see if we can get a few cameras in the facilities but until that happens you are responsible for tending to your laundry.

    07/28/2023 my air conditioning unit started blowing hot air. I contacted the office the following 2 days & received no response until I called the police. They then brought a window unit. My apartment is still 92 ************ electric bill is now $700. I contacted the office again on 07/31/2023 in regards to my unit. They sent maintenance out 2 days later to inspect it 08/02/23. They ordered a part for it & that took another day. The part was the wrong size so they had to order ANOTHER part which didnt come in until the next day. They didnt come in to fix it until 08/07/2023. As of right now, my apartment is still 91 degrees, my electric bill is still $700, my ac is STILL blowing HOT air. I have a window unit, 3 fans & a ceiling fan going. I have contacted the local authorities, housing authority, code ******************** else I can think of. This is unlivable, I have no place else to go. I begged them to evict me as it would be easier for me to sleep in my car in the same conditions without paying $1200 a month for it. They refused to evict me but also refuse to fix the problem. At this point I feel helpless & with my Fibromyalgia, I feel as if Im better off unalive.

    I currently live at Brentwood Timberlane Apatments and have been suffering due to poor property management. As I type this complaint on 05/12/2023, I am sitting in an apartment that is 90 degrees because my air condition does not work. I am asthmatic, and have been forced to do multiple breathing treatments a day because my apartment is so hot that it makes it difficult to breathe. In addition, recent neighboring tenents are marijuana smokers, and as a result it has triggered my asthma as my apartment currently smells of this odor. I have gotten no help from management. I have been unable to use my bathroom shower since January 2023 ad have been told it is not emergent and have gotten no resolution. The entire flooring is lifting and have caused me injuries multiple times with the property management giving no regard for my well being after multiple trips to the office.
