Granger sold me a vehicle that was a total loss, or Salvaged Title and did not inform me about. I signed off on a carfax that the sales person underlined where the vehicle checked out. But once I started to shop my insurance around a few months later, they informed me that the vehicle was a total loss and my insurance would be very expensive. When I reached out to the dealership, I was told that they are not allowed to sell vehicles that were total loss. I recieved an email with the same carfax I signed but when I read the whole thing, it clearly says it was owned by a insurance company in 2018 which atvthe end of the carfax says that it means it was a total loss. I've emailed the dealer circling these things and never got a response back. I understand that the car was a total loss or salvaged possibly before Granger owned it but they should help me buy putting me in a different vehicle. Today, i tired to trade my vehicle in and they informed me that they couldn't because it's showing that it was a total loss previously. Now I'm stuck with a vehicle that I can not do anything with. This is very unfair and not a good buisness practice. I would never recommend anyone to buy a vehicle from there again.

****************** stated the catalytic converter had a 2 year unlimited mile warranty. They told me to bring it into the shop for warranty repair as it had been less than 2 years when the work was completed. After dropping off the vehicle, I received a phone call that the work was not under warranty and that they wanted to charge for the diagnostic. Apparently, the previous work was sub contracted out by Granger to a muffler shop and they were going by their warranty (not honoring what they told me).

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to Complaint #********.Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction, and we take feedback seriously.
The customer brought their vehicle in after speaking with a service advisor, who informed them that while ** parts have a two-year warranty, they could bring the vehicle in for an assessment. Its important to clarify that the vehicle was serviced at a local muffler shop in April 2023,where an aftermarket catalytic converter was installed at no charge to the customer at ******* miles. The part offered a warranty of 12 months or ****** miles, as confirmed by local muffler shop. The truck in question was a **** and our shop is not equipped with a pipe ****** for exhaust work, which is why it was outsourced.
The customer has since driven ****** miles, which places them outside of the part warranty coverage. There was no appointment, and the customer arrived at ****** on 9/**/2024, after technicians and shop ******* had already gone for the day. The truck had ******* miles upon arrival, which was outside of the part warranty.
We understand the customers concerns regarding the warranty information. We encourage open communication and will make efforts to ensure all our team members provide clear and accurate information in the future.
No fee was charged to the customer and a complimentary fill-up of fuel was given. The customer picked up the truck the afternoon of 9/24/2024.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We remain committed to resolving any issues and improving our services.
    Sincerely,
    *** ******
