I hired *********************, a general contractor and owner of Reliable Restoration, to build a shop and frame in a small apartment on the inside of it. It took him much longer than expected to start the job and even longer to complete two of the three phases involved. The first phase consisted of roughing the plumbing in and pouring the slab. This phase appeared to have been done correctly so I paid him for this portion. The second phase consisted of framing wood structure. This phase also appeared to have been done correctly so I paid him for this portion. However, once I took another look at both phases of work I realized that the toilet drain was not installed in the correct place and the framing was not complete and several important mistakes were made in the framing. The third phase of the project was to supposed to be installing the metal on the structure. This phase was continually drug out for an excessive amount of time and when confronted, **** lied on several occasions. **** assured me that he would have the plumbing issue resolved as well as the framing issues, to no avail. I then fired **** and hired another contractor who has done everything he said he would do and on time. I have reached out to **** a few more times about resolving the plumbing and framing issues, but he has not followed through. This project is now at a point where I cannot continue without having to pay someone out of my own pocket to fix the issues that **** is responsible for. I have texts records and pictures.
