Brookshires in ******** ***** is inadequate in alot of things. Today i went in carrying my sons foldable diaper bag and two items i purchased a couple weeks back in the same hand. I went to the aisle i purchased them on to see if they had any like the items that had been recalled. They didnt so i went to the service desk to have them refunded as i was told i could do the week prior but hadn't made it because my son was ill. I was accused of stealing and defamated to the point i was embarrassed in front of other customers and i will npt be purchasing anything from there again. They also kept the items we had in fact paid almost 50 dollars for so thats theft of services on them and im not too happy this particular brookshires is a joke and makes the brookshires family look bad. And the manager ***** is very rude and unprofessional.Brookshire Grocery Company Response

I was in the grocery retail business for 20 years I was a bad boy for one year in **** and a produce personnel for two years and thats a high school high became a apprentice butcher for ******************* in **** after graduation I worked for ******************* for 17 years so I know the grocery business my father was also a business owner but he died in **** so its in my blood at the leaving ******************* and **** I pursued a one year painting adventure after that guy in **** *********************************************** IBC corporation which was a national company I went bankrupt in 2008 a company that was in operation for 125 years and actually was the start of the ******* that being said in 2008 I married again and was in business with my second wife in a pet grooming shop ****** at ********* that I hoped her grow to $250,000 a year after that venture and that relationship I went on to work with someone in the fire and safety in the streets and after seven years store in my own business three years ago in April 2019 since then I have enjoyed the experience of having mount business and managing my own time when ***** is done long and Ill area so Ive experienced with my experience have been shopping super one for quite a few years now Ive enjoyed the managers and the experiences for many years in ******************** I am a regular there or was a regular there for 5 to 7 times a week but because Im busy with my business now its gone down to 3 to 4 times a week I have experienced many of changes and the ********** location remember I was in the industry for 17 years and Ive been living in ********** for 55 of the 58 years Ive been on this planet most of my experiences and this store have been excellent ********************************* in work for ******************* and his family years ago his daddy was a very good man and I miss his dad. His relatives also work for ******************* and yall are only lucky that you guys have had the privilege of hiring such a high quality of people as the BoudreaBrookshire Grocery Company Response

I've shopped at Brookshires Grocery Store in Haughton, LA. for several years and their service use to be great but the past 6-8 months not so much. My issue with this location are the employees that bag & carry out your groceries with a big emphasis on 'CARRY OUT'. In the past few months the employee/employees (there have been two talking with each other while bagging) finishes bagging my groceries and I've finished with my purchase they just stood there as if it weren't their job to carry out my groceries, so I carried out my groceries (passed other employees on the way) put them in my car and called the manager. When I started telling him my experience with the employees, he immediately rushed me off of the phone as if he didn't have time to listen or deal with my complaint. It's happened now several times, I stopped bringing the issue to the manager because it was very obvious he wasn't taking care of it. Nearly all of the employees are somewhere between ages 18- 23 years of age and they are white and African american ( young men). The last occurrence was February 7, 2022 and it's going to be the time I spend mine and my families hard earned money in a business that doesn't give a **** if their employees are doing their job and treating the customers with respect This particular manager has apparently dropped his standards and morals when hiring the trash that is his employees. We followed up with this customer upon receiving notification of her concern (Feb. 15). *************************, District Vice President, spoke with her and apologized for falling short of expectations and committed to addressing the issues. He also encouraged her to notify Store Director *********************** or a member of management should she have any future concerns so that training opportunities can be quickly identified and acted upon. Doing so will help to ensure that we meet or exceed her expectations in the future. After testing positive for COVID I had a Freind go pick up my medication for me to prevent further exposure to anyone else. They did the unthinkable without telling him the price took his card and charged him . He look at receipt was $976 dollars and he looked at her she said it's fir ninety days he said I'm aware I'm also aware he has insurance you never asked it told me a price she went and reversed the charge told him it would be a few days before it appeared back on his card . No that's not happening . Well I called they were smart ***** yo ne and I told her well I'm on my way over COVID and all that's what you want that's what you will get . She hung up on me . But being the person I am I'm not gonna make everyone else suffer for her mistake she said we have another store helping us enter snd they forgot to enter you insurance I said not his fault it's yours it will be refunded today that's all the ***** he has she said no sir you will have to wait the three days have a good day hung up again . Now I'm in a delima I'm dressed about to walk over there but debating . This done made me made and I'm not counting how they have screwed up numerous times before . Do I show my *** or does Brookshires do the right thing I don't know but sounds like there the only pharmacy in my town and they know they got us by the **** and I'm sick of it sick of big corporate companies taking advantage. But it's gonna take someone doing something drastic to get there attention I'm ****** beyond measure .
