I needed to get carpeting torn out of my home due to a bug infestation. ***** and ***************** agreed to send over a guy who could uninstall my carpets. I came home from my vacation so he could do the job. I stayed home the rest of the day to clear out a bedroom when I could have been relaxing at the resort I paid for. She sent over a guy who right off the get go tells me he has scabies. NICE. Not something I wanted to hear right now. Then he was trying to get me to pay him in cash. He asked what bank I bank at. I wouldn't say anything. The red flag went up. He was going to scam me out of $100. I called ************** and she told me that she would pay him and that we would pay her. She wouldn't believe me that he was trying to con us out of $100 in cash. He then told me he was too busy and he would send over his 67 year-old wife to tear out the rest of our carpet. I told him that wouldn't work because our bedroom furniture is too heavy for a woman to move. I have a bad back and couldn't assist her. He told me he would be over at noon today and called around 1 p.m. to tell me he couldn't make it. I have a gazillion things to do around here. I don't need someone wasting my day. He got angry that I told ************** about the payment arrangement and said I was going to be nice and help you move everything, but now I'm going to be an a**** and you'll have to pack up all of your collectibles yourself. I planned on it anyway. This guy had a real work ethic problem. He spent a lot of time on his phone outside the first hour. Unbelievable. Thanks for jerking us around. I just wanted to give her the job because of the nice work they did on our bathrooms. Never again. In fact, she wouldn't even return my calls at first. Another red flag.
