  Poor service quality. Want payment upfront. Want too much for simple repair. Hard to get ahold of for repairs. Bad calking job. Gives run around when calling for repairs. They say they'd take care of us. Hasn't

  We ran the service call on 9/20/24 and this is what was determined. 9/20 Took pictures and measurements for two DG (Double Hung windows) that have caulk failure and L-trim has come off. (2 48x72 windows with L-trim that butts up to Hardie Trim 1x4) Need quote to clean and re-caulk both windows. Need quote to clean and caulk two 48”x72” DG units that have L-trim that butts up to 1x4 Hardie.
  

  
  

  She was quoted 650.00 to correct the issue. She was told that she would need to pay at least ½ up front and the other half upon completion. She was not happy with that.
  We received the below referenced comments from the customer and called her and left a voicemail to inquire if she wanted to move forward with the repair and we provided our local call back number.
  Ms. ******* contacted our national service center via email to cancel her service quote.

  
  

  Our national service center closed the service request per Ms. Bischof's request.
  

  
  

  We are happy to perform the repairs as quoted. Our fear is that if Ms. ******* doesn't correct this matter that it could cause her home damage due to water intrusion etc. Caulking is not covered by any window manufacturer's warranty and is considered normal periodic home maintenance.
  Due to the nature of our work, many materials are custom and as such we require half payment in advance for all non-warranty service work.

  Replaced 14 total windows in my patio home. The windows are a quality product. The process is methodical, making sure nothing is forgotten. The installation team do quality work, review progress as they go along, are respectful of the customer's property and clean up when they are done. A very quality operation all around.
  
  I'm happy with the product, the team and the end result. Too early to tell about smoothness of operation or effect on energy bills. The new windows do seem to greatly reduce outside noise, especially road traffic and early morning birds.

  Juan and his crew were very professional and courteous. Hopefully you have or can find more subcontractors like Juan. I was very lucky to have them at my home to ensure the windows were installed correctly and worked together w my contractor. I had an emergency and had to leave right away and when I came back the two windows were installed, and they were cleaning up as I was pulling back in. (someone was home while I was gone)

  Our experience with Renewal by Anderson was seamless from the start. The sales person was very informative and covered everything we needed to know. We then were majorly impressed with Deborah and the installation team. Deborah coordinated the whole process, meeting schedules and timelines which was greatly appreciated, and then came the installation team. These days it's difficult to find a group of installers who are not only professional, but work as a real team installing some big windows. They were thorough, polite, took plenty of time to explain and did a flawless job of putting these beauties in. My husband has a construction background and appreciated these energetic, competent and happy guys. We tell our family and friends that Anderson Windows eclipses the other companies. Your group we worked with are keepers!

  Getting new windows for my 40+year house was not even an option, but once digging into the project, there was no question that Renewal by Anderson was the way we were going to go. While pricier than others, the quality, professionalism, and commination through the entire process was beyond worth the investment, and an investment is what it is.

  I have received numerous ads in the mail plus they emailed me information. I have called three separate times to be removed from their mailing list, but continue to receive their propaganda when they assured me I would no longer hear from them. The first time I called, the young lady told me I had requested to receive their information. I would never, ever use Renewal by Andersen ** **** ************ ******* *****. **** *** ******* ****** *** **** ** *** *** ****** * *** ***. This company even got my email address and sent me an ad. I emailed back and requested to be removed. At this point, I consider their ads to be harassment at this point and want to know if BBB can help. All I want is for them to discontinue sending me their ads and leave me alone.
