    They simply dont respond to emails and my order took 4 weeks to arrive - after countless emails the gave me back 7 USD. Terrible organization. Too bad - they have a good product but do not know how to manage the company

    I have tried forever to get them on the phone. I have used them in the past and love their product. Was sometimes a wonky experience. But now, it's really bad. I am a landscape designer - I've used them in the past. I'm writing this as a warning. I can see that their phones were also down in June - so, I wonder if their office is opened at all.
    I tried their email - got back some responses but they didn't make sense. I wonder if they are using AI? or just not great help.
    I'm going to try Birdies.

    Customer service is ZERO. Products are 3 star. Purchased around $7,000 worth of product. Customer service getting order placed took some time. Eventually got material paid for and finalized. Tried to place order to fill a pallet. Nothing shipped on a pallet. Individual boxes trickled in over the course of a couple weeks. Wrong product and missing product. Charged to credit card April 23rd. When you call their phone number, it says phones are down due to weather. Leave a message and we will return your call within a couple of days. Eric, who I ordered through will not respond for more than a month now. Product looks nice but do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Don't count on any support once they have your money. I am now left with a partially filled design and disappointed customers. I will proceed with filing a claim with my credit card.

    On April 25, 2024, I purchased the Vego mounting post and Vego wedge anchor kit for my Vego retractable hose reel. I set it all up on May 6, 2024 according to instructions and it was all fine. I went outside around 10am the next day and the whole post was leaning and all the anchors were loose. I had to get help and remove the reel to prevent damage to the mounting post which at that time was my main concern. I intentionally purchased all Vego products instead of buying cheaper anchors to prevent any issues which clearly didn’t matter.
    My initial email to them about this issue was on May 7th. It took them until May 14th until they responded. All they wanted was photos and I said that I did not take photos I was more concerned with removing my $300 hose reel so it didn’t fall or damage my post mount. I asked if they wanted pictures to confirm I did not use their anchors or the receipt showing I had to purchase new anchors and it is now May 20th and still nothing. They have no problem taking that money from you real quick but their customer service is poor at best.
    There are plenty of other companies that sell retractable hose reels that are cheaper and rated higher. Don’t waste your money on Vego products.
    The best and only solution for me was to buy wider and better wedge anchors. Their anchors are way to thin for the hole their instructions say to drill. I went and purchased new wedge anchors and had to drill out the holes in the mount to adjust for the new anchor size.
    I requested a refund for the crappy anchors I bought from them and the shipping.
    I’m super disappointed. I have purchased multiple products from them as well and even referred their products to my mom and aunt.
    I expect this quality from much cheaper brands but not your company.
    I did not take photos as my main concern was not bending the metal of my $45 post or dropping my $260 hose reel that I could barely lift off by myself.

    I’m guessing my experience with Vego gardens will be similar to many of you. I purchased my garden bed and cover on 4/20. Since late April both have been “in stock” on their website. When May rolled around I started reaching out to the company to see when they would ship. Two emails went unanswered. I then communicated via the chat function. The first time I did this, it took 40 min for someone to connect with me. That person assured me the issue was being expedited and I’d have shipping info in a day or two. Those days went by and I reached out again. I was given a shipping tracking number that was created a month before I purchased by garden bed (??, fake). I reached out again. Was told Jason, supervisor would get back to me that day with a solution. Jason’s correspondence remains a mystery. Glad I didn’t hold my breath. I reached out again! Apparently the garden beds are not in fact in stock! I said “you should take that off your website”. No response. Are you getting the pattern yet? I’m still waiting… waiting for a tracking number, waiting for an update, waiting for my purchases, waiting for Jason to get back to me with the update on my “in stock” items. Would you like to garden this year? Order somewhere else.

    They are liars and sell backordered items as in stock, place 2 orders - 1st is now coming after 2nd and neither has been shipped yet. The last day for 1st order to arrive is today, after doing a little searching online it appears they have done this to others and then just give them the run around. I already submitted my orders for cancelation so I can go else where and not deal with liars.

    Bed quality—four stars
    Customer service and operations—zero stars —WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

    I now own four 32” 10 in 1 garden beds that I ordered on 4/20/24. They arrived latter the promised delivery time, but only three days late. Not great, but not awful either. It’s clearly their busy season.

    The beds are beautiful, but the paint scratches off so easily that I have to take a star off for quality—the paint is cheap and thin (at least on the batch I received).

    So why am I complaining? The beds were only part of my order. I also ordered trellises and smaller planters. (All of which were in stock when I ordered them. The planters are now out of stock, and will ship at the end of June—a month too late to be of use this season.) The trellises are still in stock but have yet to ship, despite multiple, unanswered emails and a chat session where they promised to correct the situation. They promised to ship within 36 hours at the latest. That was four days ago. They are still showing as not shipped on my account.

    I can’t fill my beds and plant a darn thing until I get the trellises, as they clearly will be impossible to install in a bed full of dirt (bolt alignment and spacing must be perfect and no one can move a 4x8 bed without taking the dirt out first).

    So I am the proud owner of empty garden beds, a pissed off payer of fines for cancelled dirt delivery, and someone trusts this company about as far I could throw them.

    Will be returning my hose reel. The setup and product would be 10X better if they would use screws that don’t strip immediately. I cannot back them out nor can I screw further in on the bracket because they are completely rounded off. I will have to buy a kit to get them extracted. Really not happy with the quality already, and their customer service really lacks. I received one reply from an agent, to my email, asking me to send images of the stripped screws and they would figure out a solution. I sent that email April 18th, got a reply same day, I sent my images and a video. I have gotten NOTHING back. I have also sent Facebook messages and sent the emails again. Nothing. I am processing a refund to return this product because a company that doesn’t stand by their product with decent customer service, in the very least, is not worth the hassle to me.

    I am a 71 year old who just retired this year. I used to keep a garden and was excited to get back into gardening. I shopped around for raised beds and ended up at Vego’s website this month. I ordered two of the 6-in-1 beds and managed to put them together myself. I won’t say it was easy for me, but that is only because of my age. I found them to be well made, sturdy, and attractive. They are in my old garden area now and filled with lots of things that I cleaned up in my yard like dirt clods, leaves, fallen apples from the trees, and straw. In my cleanup, I opened up enough space to place two more beds, so I have ordered two more 6-in-1 Vego beds. Can’t wait for spring!
    I did have to call customer support and found the young man that I spoke with to be fully informed in his subject and took care of my problem in a very pleasant manner and much faster than I expected.
