REALTOR & BUYER BEWARE!!! This company is solely an engineering company and cannot provide estimates, their inspection reports CANNOT be used to get an estimate from a foundation company. I have called five foundation companies trying to get an estimate, EVERY single one said they will not provide an estimate without doing an inspection, which they rightfully so charge for. I now have a $430.00 engineers report that is absolutely useless to me. I feel the company has misrepresented themselves. When I called on the phone I told them REPEATEDLY when making the appointment that I needed an estimate, and they said "of course we will provide an "inspection report" the next day". I again stressed that I needed an estimate while with the engineer was doing the inspection and he also led me to believe an estimate would be provided. I asked the engineer in front of my realtor “can you include the exposed rebar repair on the estimate you will be sending me”; Jeff looked at me and my realtor and said “Of course” then picked up his clipboard and made a note about it. When I called their office they told me that they cannot provide an estimate and that I was wrong and never asked for an estimate and tried to hide behind clever wordplay “stating we never said we would provide an estimate, we said we’d provide an inspection report, we never provide estimates that is not what we do”. They then repeatedly told me that my realtor and I were both wrong, and that they never illuded to an estimate, and then said that they don’t even remember me ever mentioning an estimate, despite my realtor being present for every conversation who heard me ask repeatedly in person and on the phone, my realtor and I were both under the assumption the entire time that an estimate would be provided. This was a terrible experience, and i feel like a complete waste of my time and money. I recommend calling an actual foundation company, they will be able to provide with you a meaningful report and estim

We have been doing foundation inspections for 30 years when the client asked for an estimate on foundation repairs, of course, our response is yes, we make the recommendation for repairs if needed and can give you a rough estimate (Swag) meaning how much one pier may be multiplied by the number of piers (it does not take into account plant removal, concrete patches, etc.). The client was told to submit the report to a foundation company, he stated the 5 companies he contacted would all charge him to do another inspection to give him a written estimate. In my 30 years of engineering inspections I have never encountered a client so difficult and one that tells me how to run my business, Apparently what the client wanted was a written estimate to give to the seller and I can not provide a precise estimate to work I do not perform. My opinion of foundation repair is an unbiased opinion and we do not work for or with a foundation company. Furthermore, we did provide him on the same day he received the report an estimate after we took the time to submit the report to a foundation company for review. He called the following morning and said he did not receive it, but then it showed up in his junk-mail?? We have been with the BBB for 28 years and have performed more than 21, 000 inspections and this one client writes a meritless review.
