      This bank closed my account, turned off my debit card and put a note in my file not to re-issue, all of this was done due to suspected on my account, not one phone call was made to me as a customer now I’m having a hell of a time trying to get a debit card from them; Absolutely the worst. It supposed to be here in five days it is now day six
      Stay clear of this bank. They’ve been sold out so many times than we even know what they do.

      Update on this review: we found out that the account was never closed properly. After we told them to close our account in July, in September another ***** activity went out. And the management lied and said to my face that the zelle went out the same day in july. They made us pay the late fees and everything even thought it was their mistake. This gotta be the worst experience in banking business we have ever seen. I will report this to BBB as well.
      Be ware when you do business at this bank. We did open a business account here but when we sold the business amd closed down the account, couple weeks later someone was trying to collect an outstanding balance. We were confused of how that would happen when the account was closed. The person who called did not have any answer and when I asked for the manager he said the manager is on vacation for 10 days. He also told me they reopened our account waiting for our deposit to cover that balance. I don't think this is legal to reopen an account that was closed by your customers without their consent. They are quick to make a mistake, did not owe up to it, try to harass you to pay for the mistake, and when you ask questions then they give you the classic response "manager on vacation" type. Never have I ever done business with a bank of this level of disrespect to their customers.

      I consistently receive stellar service from Amegy Bank. I just got off the phone with customer service and they resolved my issue super-fast. They are consistently pro-active in their service as well.

      Customer service at their Spring location is extremely rude very hateful. The lady behind the counter won’t even acknowledge people in line. The manager was rude very unprofessional would not bank there if it was my last choice.

      I have 3 accounts with Amegy Bank. I lived in Texas and moved to Florida where there is no Amegy Bank branch.
      1) I have a car payment which I TRIED TO DOUBLE MY PAYMENT ON. It was on auto pay and I sent in an extra payment EACH month which means my car should have been paid off in July. It was not because they STOPPEDTAKING OUT THE AUTO PAY!
      2)I tried to get info on my account number but the service agent could not help me because of "security" reasons. I demanded to speak with her supervisor who I got after a 20 minute wait on the phone who told me the same thing. She was nice enough to send me to the loan dep't who IMMEDIATELY told me wheremyaccount number was hidden on mypayment coupon. She also explained to me why they stopped taking my autopay out. So now I just double up on my payment tomake sure I get the car paidoff early. I do not understand why regular customer could not have told me this instead of spending 55 minutes on the phone with agents who seem to have blinders on. ICANNOT RECOMMEND AMEGY IN ANY WAY.
      3) We appliedfor a loan to purchase an RV. After 3 (THREE) weeks we still did not have an answer because of "something" on our credit. I had been doing business with this bank for 50 (FIFTY) years and not missed any payment. They simply could not give us an answer. We appliedwith 2 other companies and 2 (TWO) DAYS later had two different approvals which we took one of them. This bank is one sorry bank.They took over my original bankand thingswent down hill after that.

      One of the worst bank ever. They changed their policy without notifying me and started charging me $35 every month to keep the account open. I had some money in that account they took all of it and started charging more and sent me for collections. I dont even use this account any more. This is daylight robbery. AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COST

      I had some fraudulent charges on an Amegy credit card. I called the bank and canceled the card as I should have, especially during the holidays. New cards were to be shipped in two days. This is important not only for the holidays but also for the various accounts that are tied to the account. 9 days later no cards and no call from Amegy. I called them and they blamed the lack of cards on their supplier with no ETA. If Amegy wants to drive customers to other banks this is how you do it. We have a Premier Elite account and there is no Premier or Elite about this service.

      0 stars. Fraud committed on my account. I have done more to investigate the fraudulent charge than they have. They allowed nearly $700 fraud to be committed, and now I cannot access my funds, AND they charged me $25 to send a new card.

      Our organization had a business account with Amegy Bank; the individuals that were responsible for managing the account had "moved on" and we tried (and tried, and tried) to get the names responsible for managing the account updated. Amegy refused in every instance, saying that they would only speak with the individual who was listed as the original "program administrator".

      Fine. We will take our business elsewhere. Or so we thought. But Amegy would not even allow us to CLOSE our accounts without speaking to... you guessed it: the original program administrator. We went to several different physical branch locations; each gave us a different story of what the 'requirements' were, all of which turned out to be insufficient/wrong.

      Customer service is nonexistent, their online banking is woefully inadequate, and you can never get a straight answer even if you go to a physical branch and speak to someone with the nominal title of "manager". I wish it were possible to give a zero star rating.
