July 23, 2025 Great experience from start to finish! My wife and I witnessed Eldridge Roofing complete a project on our neighbors house and saw how organized and efficient they were. On top of that, with a large, talented crew, our neighbors project was completed well before end-of-day, despite the amount of work required. This led us to give them greater consideration over the other roofing companies we had researched, and we were not disappointed. Our representative, Will, was friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable about everything and answered all our questions thoroughly, from the project timeline, materials used, financing, and even their methodology and procedures. This helped provide confidence and instill trust that their company could do the job right and to the standards that we were looking for. Additionally, Will was always available to help answer questions, be it later in the evening or even on weekends. This was service above and beyond what I have experienced with other contractors and service providers. When it came time to execute our project, all the team members arrived promptly and were ready to go. Additionally, everyone involved was friendly, courteous, and professional. The entire operation was well planned and organized, and everything went as smoothly as possible, with our project being completed in half the time that I had estimated. Upon completion, clean up was a breeze since the Eldridge team takes into consideration any falling hazards from the debris produced during construction. We truly appreciate how clean and meticulous they are throughout their operation.Project Planning and Execution: 5 / 5 Stars! Thanks again to Eldridge Roofing and Solar for an excellent ********************

On May 23,2023, Eldridge Roofing gave me a new roof .It was an old roof and had recent hail
damage. Shannon ***** and his team did an excellent job in every way. I was always kept informed during the entire process and everything went so smoothly. If I had any questions, the nice ladies in the office were happy to help. I am very thankful to Shannon and team for their fine
job. I give them an A+.

My introduction to Eldredge Roofing was at Home and Garden Show in Conroe,TX. Signed up for a salesman to give me a quote on reinsulating my attic. Follow up on Tuesday with Brandon. He took pictures inside and out and needed to process the quote and then he returned the next day. We agreed to the job and price. The job was scheduled for end of September. They were able to bump me up a few days and 3 day job was completed in 2days thanks to hard working techs Mario,John,Dillon, and Mattie! Time will tell if electricity bill decreases.
I would recommend them to friends and family.

Summary: superb tradespeople and work quality, deceptive and predatory pricing.

Eldridge replaced our roof in 2016 and it was a very pleasant experience. Fast forward six years and we needed some maintenance work done. Expecting the same level of treatment and professionalism, reached out to Eldridge (and no others - BIG MISTAKE) about this work and sent them photos of the issue areas as advance notice (I am a project manager and estimated 2 hours of work for one individual). Eldridge sent Garry Brock out to do the assessment and subsequently received a bid for $1216. I pushed back on this and was informed verbally by Garry that this was a 3 man job for half a day. Nonetheless, Eldridge sent a revised proposal for $1016. Expecting a full crew to perform the work, I signed the proposal. On 12 July, a single individual showed up on time at 10:15AM and performed the work. Very professional and competent, he left before noon for a total trip time of one hour and 45 minutes. Before leaving, he relayed what he did:
    1) Replaced 3 shingles
    2) Re-caulked areas around roof jacks
    3) Repainted said roof jacks and utility stanchion
This represents at most $100 for materials and I am being kind. Roofers in Houston make around $20/hr, but assuming a billable rate of $50/hr, that is another $100. That leaves $800+ for overhead, margin, etc. I contacted Eldridge to negotiate a fairer final bill as I would not have signed that proposal if they had been honest about the actual labor expected, but they were cordial but dismissive at best. I did sign the contract so I have paid the full invoiced amount. Since then, I have contacted other roofing companies for this scope and received bids in the $500 - $700 range. I recommend that consumers find other firms to do business with as I do not believe Eldridge fulfills its own motto - "People Before Profits."

The review is simply unfair. Mr. Berry felt it was an appropriate business practice to negotiate after the work was done. His complaint is rooted in what he says he "was told". It's irresponsible for Mr. Berry to assume our costs on the deal. It's completely subjective and misleading. When he compares other quotes, it is also misleading as finding a cheaper price is not hard to do when looking for less than excellent work as he explains we've given him on multiple projects. We lowered the price after the work was done as a goodwill gesture and he also agreed to that as well. After giving him the discount that he agreed to, he then asked for more because he felt it should be cheaper. Unfortunately, we cannot price our work off the opinions of Mr. Berry. Make no mistake, the price was agreed to before the work was done, and we honored our side of things. Mr. Berry also honored his side in paying for what he agreed to pay for the project. For the record, he threatened to leave a poor review if we didn't lower the price for him a 2nd time after the work was done. It's an unfair business practice, not to mention telling that he would be willing to recommend we lose business because of how he feels we should have charged him after the fact. We wish Mr. Berry the very best going forward.
