    Unprofessional and Disappointing Service

    Our recent move with this company was extremely frustrating and disappointing. First, they arrived one hour later than the promised arrival time, which set a bad tone for the day. We had a lot of furniture and required help with packing and unpacking our kitchen items. Despite being assigned five movers, only one was tasked with packing the entire kitchen, and it was clear he had no experience. It took him about two hours to pack just two cabinets, and he barely made progress after that. I had to call in two friends to help, and together we packed the rest of the kitchen ourselves in four hours.

    To make matters worse, after loading the truck, the crew took off for a one-hour lunch break—with all of our belongings still on the truck! It was very unsettling to know our entire household was sitting unattended during their lunch.

    Overall, the company was not professional, and the service fell far below our expectations. I would not recommend them for anyone looking for reliable and efficient movers.

    I’m sorry to hear about your negative impression of our company. We looked into your file and we do see that we were 30 minutes past our arrival window. We should have done a better job of informing you that we were running behind and I apologize that we did not. We would have definitely appreciated hearing your concerns regarding the packing while the move was in progress so that we could discuss it with you and address any concerns at that point in time. With regards to the lunch break, we do encourage our movers to stop during the day to eat and keep their strength and hydration up. It wouldn’t be fair of us to ask them not to eat at all. Perhaps we could have communicated this better so we apologize if we missed something along the way. We do track our trucks with GPS so we know where they are at all times. But I can understand your concerns. If you were to change your mind and use us for a future move, I think it would be important to have a longer conversation about expectations further in advance of your move next time so that we could make sure that the expectations were set early on and all available lines of communication were in use. For example, text is a great way to get ahold of us. And knowing your preferences regarding a lunch break, we might suggest a few easy solutions to make you more comfortable.
