    May of this year my existing a/c system simply quit cooling. Sevier Climate Control installed a new a/c compressor for me on 11 May 2022. Within 60 days of install the new system was causing water damage to my ceiling from the new system not being set up correctly. We had no water problems before the new system was installed by Sevier. The first Sevier technician to look at the problem stated he had fixed the problem (stating the new system was producing too much condensation), but the problem persisted, and water continued to damage our ceiling in the living room. The owner of Sevier looked at the problem and after two more visits was able to stop the new system from damaging our ceiling. Now the new a/c system appears to be working correctly, but the damaged ceiling remains. We have called Sevier on two separate occasions speaking to Russel on the first call and a woman on the second call. Both times the call ended with Sevier telling me they would get “their sheetrock guy to call us” and the woman stated she “would get back with me.” There has been no follow from either person at Sevier. This ceiling damage is the direct result of a poor design and install of my new Sevier a/c system. The new system created the water damage. There are no roof or faulty water pipes that could have caused this problem. Sevier knows they are responsible and should fix this sheetrock damage at no cost to me for a problem caused by the new a/c system.

    They do not deserve even 1 star. We were already skeptical based on numerous current and older bad reviews but American Home Shield set us up with this company to fix an AC leak. It was leaking in the wall of a guest bedroom and into another bathroom. We were told that he would be there between 4-6pm on 7/21. Robert their tech did not show up until 8:30pm. We let him know that the drain pipe was no longer dripping but the leak was getting worse. We asked him to check the drain pipe for leaks. After he was up there only 15 minutes he told us that it was not the drain pipe but condensation from needed duct work repair. He said that he would file his report in the morning recommending that the duct work be replaced due to it being old and not in good condition. After numerous calls and multiple excuses and lies, the report was filed almost 3 weeks later. He filed a false report stating that the duct work was damaged due to pets/pests. This is a lie. Our pets do not go in the attic nor do we have or have had pests in the attic. AHS denied the claim to fix the duct work because of reason that Robert gave on his report. We called Sevier and AHS to dispute the false report but neither one would budge and we were left with a quote for $3700 that we would have to pay 100% out of our pocket. We paid $100 service call that was worthless. We found another AC company through Nextdoor that came out on 8/4. He was in our attic and the rooms where it was leaking about 20 minutes. He found that we were right and it was a drain pipe leak. The drain pipe was not connected. He fixed it the same day for $223. If we had believed the Sevier tech and paid the $3700 we would still have the leak. Due to the delays from their tech Robert, we now have to replace wall and ceiling due to mold and flooring due to the leak overrunning during the day while everyone is at work. Please save yourself and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are unprofessional, dishonest and incompetent!
