  Like everyone else, there seems to be a lot of questionable billing here. I keep getting bills from different parts of this business. First it's they need $700 before the procedure so I can meet my insurance deductible. Then the doctor's office called (see, the docs bill separately than the office where the procedures happen) and they needed $150. Then I get a $500 bill from the Anesthesiologist, because apparently anesthesia is separate from everything else. Now I get a mystery bill for $66 for the tests they ran on the samples. Yeah, go somewhere else.

  this organization has predatory practices and preys on patients. they run it like a med mill putting patients through unnecessary tests and procedures only to maximize their profits and take advantage of insurance payments. they should be investigated and shut down.

  A bill came just today asking for payment for services that they claimed they did over one year ago. The place is in Texas and I can't even drive to the nearby dollar store to get my drinks because of medical issues let alone go all the way to Texas! The bill is just a scam and they are passing it along after almost one year has passed in between. It is no more than another medical scam that needs to be looked into very carefully.

  I have been going to TDDC for over *********************************** April. The billing as others have reported is horrible. The first time they had me prep for a colonoscopy. While I was drinking that drink to empty me out, they said I needed to pay $8000 up front. Horrible. It turns out I only needed $600 up front and for the entire procedure. The next time I went in for the colonoscopy they kept billing my credit card for monthly payments. After the insurance came back and said I owed a much lower amount, they continued to bill my card. It was not until a I threatened to dispute my charges with the credit card company that the charges stopped. I received a refund a month later. Again this year I go for a colonoscopy. The **************** overcharged by *******. The first dr. overcharged by $600.00. I had two other drs perform procedures. I asked billing if they were all under the same umbrella or do I need to address each bill separately. Billing said all were under the same umbrella and I only needed to pay $100.00 more. I paid it. I get threats that I am going to go to collections. I call and no one understands why I am still getting a bill. It looks like per another bill, I am going to collections. I am now at a point were I am going to find a new GI doctor. This is not going to change.

  Both my wife and I were patients at this office. We've been paying all our bills on time. Then a year after the procedures we get a call from the collection agency for a $60. Never received any bills from the office. They never called or reached out otherwise. Went straight to the collection agency. In the past they failed to obtain preauthorization from the insurance for the procedure so they were working on resolving that for some time. The office communication is not working here. Instead they make patients pay for their billing mistakes.
