    Ordered a cake on 12/27/23. Wasnt told the specific location the manager that handle custom cakes wasnt working. When I showed up 12/28/23 to pick the cake up an hour after the time I asked to pick it up 1pm. Was told the cake hadnt even been started and to give them another hour. When I returned an hour later the cake was not even close to what I had ordered. I asked for a refund and was denied and told to email the owner and I might get a refund. Since I felt like the staff was a lovely bunch of liars I doubted I would ever get a refund and took the cake instead of being out the money and no cake. It was for my daughters birthday that evening. Took 4 days to respond to the email and was told I could bring the cake back for a refund but only if the cake was fully intact. Then a week later I got an email saying I could get a partial refund but only if I still had the receipt. I just dont feel that is fair since I asked for a refund upon seeing the cake in store should have just been given one then. But the manager ******** that day said they dont do any refunds and the owner sometimes will ***** them. Also on the day of pickup the counter employee was on her cell phone with a personal call and I had to wait for her to finish before even being helped. If they couldnt do the cake why wasnt that mentioned from the beginning?
