I recently helped my elder parents purchase a vehicle from this dealer. When I went in to help, the salesman would not show me the breakdown of the price of the vehicle even after I asked to see multiple times. He told me I needed to look at the vehicle to appreciate the monthly payments (EXTREMELY HIGH) and I told him I dont need to see the vehicle because I am just here to see numbers and make the sale. He had so much added in fees like nitrogen in the tires (SCAM) and other added in and said they could not remove like paint protection (SCAM). I asked if they were offering any rebates or Incentives at this time ( I had already checked and yes there was a ***** dollar rebate) he said no and there is nothing they can do. After 3 hours of him giving us the go around he said he would take off the added fees only to find out they used the rebate that was available to cover a portion of the fees and still charged us the rest. Dishonest all the way and I would suggest never going to this dealer if you can help it. They lie or they dont train the sales people on the current sales and rebates. I would give them zero stars if I could.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unprofessional and unethical business practices that I experienced at Gillman Honda San Antonio. I am concerned that my experience *** represent a wider pattern of unethical customer treatment and ask that this situation be looked into.I had been in communication with a sales representative named ***************************** about a car that I wanted to purchase. ******************** worked with his manager to draw up and sign a contract for our agreed upon price. ******************** sent me a picture of the contract and I told him that I would be at Gillman Honda San Antonio in 65 minutes to sign the contract as I was driving from ******. I called when I was 30 minutes away to confirm that the car would be ready and ******************** sent me pictures and a video of the vehicle washed and ready to drive off the lot. When I was 10 minutes away from Gillman Honda, I received a hurried call from ******************** informing me that the car had already been sold. I asked to speak to his manager who had signed our contract and he refused to allow me to speak with him. During our conversation I could hear the manager yelling at ******************** in a loud voice about how the car was no longer available despite having the contract written and signed.I arrived at Gillman Honda 10 minutes later and showed the sales manager, *********************, the picture of the contract ******************** had sent me and he said the contract was no longer valid. When I asked why he would not honor the contract, ************** began reading the size 4 font at the bottom which claimed that he was permitted to change the terms of the contract. ************** then turned his back on me and walked through his office door saying that the car had already been sold. I informed ************** that I would be filing a grievance with Honda *** and asked for his name. He refused to tell me his name as he was walking away and I only found it by later calling the office directory.

I was lied to. I asked if we were working with MSRP and the salesperson said yes. I was not told we were actually working with MSRP plus approximately $2,500 in dealer markup.

I am very disappointed with EVERYTHING I have gone through since buying a 2018 truck from this dealership !!! We bought the truck JAN, 2023 AND We bought the "best" warranty that we were ASSURED would cover ANY problems , Well of the FIVE MAJOR PROBLEMS FOUND SO FAR , THEY WILL COVER NOTHING !!!!!!! OVER $3000.00 LATER AND 3 THINGS LEFT TO BE FIXED , I AM HONESTY FEELING DEFEATED, I have done everything I was told to do and hit a wall each time . I don't get response, *** sent everything in and I can't even get anything. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE AND NOBODY SHOULD GET SCAMMED AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF PERIOD!

Bought a car ai Gillman on 9/19/22, I was told the recalls where complete and needed to be a certified used car. If it didn't pass inspection I would have to get a new car. Same afternoon went to get car and I was told it was ready. Vehicle passed the certified inspection the same day. All recalls we're completed and latch fixed on tonneau cover. I Drive home about 15 miles off the dealers lot and "Emissions system failure" light came on and latch recall was not fixed from active recall for 2017 Honda Ridgeline. It was after dealer closed so I text salesman the next day on 9/20/22 Gillman Honda sales ************* text me back staying it's a service issue. I was at work and scheduled service for 9/22/22 online . On 9/21/22 at 11 am, I get to Gillman Honda fot my appointment for service, I report emissions light and tonneau recall from Honda for latch not fixed, ****** in service department stated without looking at my vehicle at all, the cover on my vehicle is an after market tonneau cover and they could remove it, Not fixing. Recall was for Honda Ridgeline 2017 to 2020 with covers. The service advisor looked at my truck in parking lot from his desk out the window. The cover is imbedded it the truck bed. Clearly part of the truck. He would have known if he actually inspected it up does not from his desk The emissions light was an issue that was caused by faulty fuel injectors needed replaced. Have to see if it's covered. It was so be fixed but be a long wait. How was the faulty injectors not found during the 300 Plus inspection the same day as the light came on to certify the before to qualify it for the car loan? The salesman was contacted and says talk to manager in next hour. Afternoon I got text from ***, service already spoke to you? I'm not happy because I was told recall had to be done or truck couldn't be sold as certified Honda vehicle. They need to make this right. If they don't want to fix car I'll take it to another Honda dealer that will. Don't lie.
