    On 9-29-22 I took my car (2017 **** Fusion) to AAMCO due to it getting stuck in gear and having a see-manual light on. On 10-11-22 I picked the car up from AAMCO and paid $5,029.40 for a transmission rebuild. On 10-12-22, the day after picking up the car, the see-manual light came back on and I began having the same issue of it getting stuck in gear. Due to my busy work and college schedule and needing a vehicle to commute, it wasn't until 11-3-22 I returned my car to the shop. When initially speaking the shop owner, ****, she apologized about the issue continuing and told me to bring in the car to have it fixed under the warranty she provided me after the 1st visit. The next day, 11-4-22, **** called and explained the issue the car is having now is completely unrelated to the first issue, therefore not covered under the warranty, and would be another $1,677 to fix electronic issues. On 11-4-22 I explained to **** that I felt as though my car was misdiagnosed, due to it having the same issue the very next day after having the transmission rebuilt, and that I was not comfortable paying another $1,677 after just paying $5,029 and being assured the issue was fixed. Her response was "I'm not going to argue with you about it" I contacted the AAMCO corporate, Jaye provided me with the number, the same day, 11-4-22. After several calls and explaining my complaint several times, I was told "All we can do about this grievance is recommend solutions to the shop owner. We are simply here to help communicate when communication between the customer and shop breaks down."On *******, I picked the car back up from the shop after not approving the additional work they wanted to perform. I am now left with a vehicle undrivable at times after paying $5,029 to get it fixed and AAMCO is not willing to fix their mistake of misdiagnosing the vehicle. I am looking for either a refund or to have the job correctly fixed for what I have already paid.

    Brought my daughters car in to be repaired. We have been having issues with the car and a drain on the battery. We had bought a brand new battery and had the alternator tested and the alternator is fine before bringing it in. So at this point Im thinking its probably the starter or something to do with the starter. I take the car in and they tell me its the alternator and repair it. We get the car back it doesnt run we take it back. They work on it for a week or two and they say its fixed we pick up the car and it doesnt run. So long story short after the third time weve dropped it off theyve had the car for over a month and a half and they say theyre not responsible. Im not sure why they repaired a part that was perfectly fine and gives me my car back still broken with no solution. Be wary of this mechanic you may go in for an oil change and come out with a new transmission.
